Considering that the survey was probably filled only by the most dedicated players and 1/3 of them seem not to care about leaderboards, imagine how small the fraction interested in leaderboards is.
I would be way more interested in achievements, both seasonal and not, like in D3/4 than leaderboards, that only reward people that can sink an insane amount of time in the game (a luxury you just have or haven’t, no skill involved on this).
I am a seasoned gamer in my 50s, having enjoyed playing video games since my childhood. I must admit, I have never encountered such a transparent and open approach to statistics and community driven changes in any other gaming company before. Your dedication to listening to feedback and implementing changes based on player input is truly commendable. Your commitment to the concept of “you ask, we deliver” sets you apart in the industry.
I am genuinely impressed by the level of involvement you have with your customers, ensuring that their voices are heard and valued. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and I believe they will lead to great success for your company. I plan to be a long-term player of this game, I am excited to see what the future holds and look forward to continuing to be a part of this gaming community.
Are you thinking about doing something with the market guild? It is impossible to make a meta build with these prices, rings without LP at 90M?? and weapons or armor close to the same price, an improvement in the market is necessary pls.
I have no idea if 500mil is the build ‘starter pack’ or the BiS list, but either way, it’s why I have no desire to play MG. I don’t like the choices of the market to directly impact how fast I can get gear. It’s slightly better here without scalpers, but Trade, especially in Legacy/non-Season, will always be favouring people who farmed early and often. That’s just economics.
Prices will sort themselves out. People have no clue what anything is worth, this is the first cycle. Give it time to stabilize and for the knowledge to permeate. In future cycles, people will have a lot more gold too so it will change through time. You are not suggesting the devs manipulate the market are you? (E.g. capping prices or drop rate for the most chase items? - that would defeat the entire purpose of the leader board).
That said, I will say what I always do. If I was playing Cycle, I’d go CoF, if I was playing legacy I’d go MG.
Choosing not to fix known bugs regardless of how significant their impact is is absolutely mind boggling to me; unless the bug is extremely minor and the work required to fix it is extensive.
Sorry, I don’t understand this. Why do you need a stance in this? They have stated they want to redo old masteries many times.
They just reworked tempest strike and replaced ice thorns skill with something newer while reworking lightning bolts and parts of shaman. On top, they said they have a bigger rework for shaman still planned.
To add, if they did a survey asking “Do you want us to make the skills/masteries that suck, not suck?”
Do we really think people would say no?
I think you’d get more people voting no as a contrarian joke than people who legitimately don’t want that change.
WELL DONE GUYS!!! THANK YOU!
The fact that you guys communicate like this with the community shows just how much you really care.
You are GAMERS creating a great GAME for the GAMERS!!!
That will always keep me playing and supporting.
Keep it up…and for the love of God, don’t ever sell out or go public trade.
have you ever considered highly buffing the extremly underperforming builds and classes, people would not cry about falconer or warlock being op if other classes or skills would do well ( outside of the 5 established good builds that can compete in pve currently ) even just giving forgeguard an 10x on the never used skills or minions hp just to see if people would play it and if it actualy could participate in the “endgame” activities that are driven now by competitive measures, also doesnt help new players get permastuck at 100 corruption with an outdated class and looking on youtube seeing someone half afk in 2.5k corruption with viable builds
Dropping a Thanks for the efforts.
You all took a liver shot out of the gate. Seems like the team bit down and have been full go since.
Also, the change to Cloud Gatherer isn’t crazy bad. Can still have nearly continuous Smoke up. The cut in ward is felt, but not absolutely fatal… yet /laugh. Switching loot targets and rotation was fun to figure out.
