Ultimately all games are waste of time of sorts. They are engaging, fun, enjoyable but a waste of time. If game allows me to decide if I want to save 9hrs with a shortcut to end game but at the same time gives me option to waste 10hrs on a cool campaign I call it win/win. Seems that some people want to take it away and make everyone experience the game the only way they think is best.
You had me until the perma lock on respeccing Passive points… feels vindictive at that point
I play just fine without a guide; never used one in all my time. Some people just need them, but EHG themselves stated just about everything can get to 300c, and (even with your own statement about ease and readability) this is very possible if you take the time to sort things yourself
i am in fact being vindictive. simply, it all boils down to being a badge of honour.
the ones complaining are worried about the sanctity of the game and people trivializing character classes.
the reality is what sanctity do we have when many players just follow build guides anyway. in any case a softer approach already has been proposed.
make players who do not change mastery get a new tag. they lose the tag if they change mastery. similar to how deathless works. also for ladder, the system should be changed so that if you change mastery you will not be allowed to be listed on ladders.
I Love it; a “Purity” tag of sorts (kinda iffy on EHG implementing it though, imho. ) I surely hope they see it and do, but ya know.
