I’ve been able to run this game at highest settings at 1080p 144fps but choose to run it at high instead of very high and had no previous issues holding a fairly stable 144fps with depending on high density situations like some monoliths dropping to around 110fps and at worst higher 80’s fps but that low was extremely rare, this has been the case since pre 1.0 and after with this issue happening for the first time yesterday September 22, 2024. First hour or 2 of playing yesterday was running fine until a sudden, constant and significant fps drop to between 14fps and 4fps. After restarting the problem persisted and I’ve tried everything from altering which cpu cores are used, increasing resource priority, validating the game files, lowering settings etc but now even at the login menu through into any location in game it is constantly at that 14fps to 4fps sometimes outright stopping at 1fps. I can’t seem to find a reason for this to be happening as my systems resources are not near full use and no changes to the game’s settings or handling of its application changes seem to make a difference. Just for reference I have tested other both higher and lower requirement games and they have had no change in performance so its definitely not on my end. Is this a common issue people are currently facing and is there any recommended fixes or word on a coming fix to this issue because the game is literally unplayable in this state currently.
