Many sounds not assigned to correct channel

With “sound effects” channel turned to zero, a lot of effects still play fully or (even more oddly) at diminished volume

  • pots and boards breaking
  • siren death screams
  • some but not all player grunts/speeches
  • whooshing from Devouring Orb/ Abyssal Emanation
  • many more- the entire sound system needs a channelization pass

7.9.c corrected a lot of this. Thank you! I suspect sound effects were properly channelized but their echoes weren’t.

The issue was the “reverb” for all sounds wasn’t tied to a volume slider, so it always played at the same volume. There may have been some base sounds that were on the wrong channel too, I’m not sure.
