Please make Mastery a permanent choice again, that was one of the distinguishing features of LE. I remember spamming enter and click through gaspar’s dialogue and mistakingly choosing the wrong mastery. Do not take that feeling away from the players, see what is best for game identity, you are creating a franchise, not cattering to the whims of whatever is popular at the moment.
Hard disagree. I would even go one step further and let people dual-spec so I didn’t have to level an entirely different character just to play another build/mastery.

This is kinda the feeling I’m talking about. It’s permanent whether you agree with it or not. Who hasn’t spammed through the pokecenter nurse dialogue? It’s the same, if you spam through and fuck it up, it should be permanent. It is what it is.
You didn’t make an argument either. You just said “please don’t do it cause I remember messing up…” If that’s your argument, then hard pass because forcing players to regret simple selection mistakes is a big no bueno in games.
I do agree tho at some point at higher lvls ur mastery should be locked in. Reason is once ur far enough in the game say 85 plus. U should know by then what build u want to play. I say lvl 85 cuz if i remember correctly that is the last lvl requirement needed to wear all gear in the game. Some require lvl 85 to even use
Locking it also will give wight to the choice made. As well as not have a form of campaign skip.
Mastery respec IMHO should be a safty net. For things like ooopsie picked the wrong mastery. Mistakes like thinking what u want to do build wise would work with bladedancer. Then relizing marksmen is the strong mastery for ur build plan
Tbh it really isnt a QoL. QoL doesnt change up how the game is played. By that i mean. Change up how builds are done. Make a game easier ect.
QoL are things that make the game more user friendly like right click to equip. Ctrl+alt to compare both rings or even off hand and main hand. Key rings ect.
QoL is something that doesnt have an effect on the core of the game. Mastery respecing effects the game itself (we seen this happen before season 2 dropped in build guides. If it was just pure QoL this wouldnt have been affected) as well as the player course this part depends on the play. Iv already seen some players completely drop this game because of mastery respecing. Others enjoyment of it has also been affected
