Ravenous void has a base 0.11% chance to drop. From the boss (or the harbinger in this case) it has a 4.5% chance to drop. Meaning you need to kill, on average, over 20 harbingers to get one to drop.
And that is no different than using glyphs of envy to jump to the boss right away.
There is a difference between getting 1 in 20 kills and getting 20 a day.
So it’s not the same thing. In the time you dropped 200 bleeding hearts with imprints, you wouldn’t have dropped as many via prophecies because you need to farm favour, then roll them, then trigger them.
It depends on how you do it I guess. I farmed about a tab of wing guards with the “abused” chest mechanic in a few hours. I got 500k favor in that time so actually I probably slowed down my wing guards obtain rate by farming chests actually.
Again, the use case was entirely nerfed around the top end players abusing it, I expect to see “infinite memory amber” nerfed because it was also being used to abuse chest imprints by getting far more chest troves then how I was doing it with echo imprints.
But really none of it is about “cheapened” game experience. it was 100% MG bullshit and people farming rings.
Totally agree, can’t get the red ring either, extremely often I see imprinting a reward with echo give me any random ring other than the one in the imprint.
I decided to try to play on falconer, I saw that the build requires red rings with LP and did not see it as a big problem, wait a little bit and it will fall to me on the floor or from the prophecy, then through the imprint I will get two rings with potential
This change made such a plan impossible, as I think and the idea of collecting attribute - stackers who play with red rings, I do not see in the game adequate alternatives that can give the stacker as much as these rings give, you either play with them and can take a big karapt, or play without them and push for 300-600, sometimes vanshoat).
Well, I will now know and apparently always play on the Sentinel, things on which targeting farmyaetsya from bosses, a great opportunity to progress the build without spending a lot of time on it removed, thank you, dropping league.
I don’t know how you got so lucky for 350k favor to get those rings, I spent over a million and only saw 2 rings, as a floor drop I saw one ring. This is despite the fact that I play on dex stacker and these rings are extremely important in my build, they are needed on 1 lp for the build to normal difficulty can go… I do not understand how to collect this nonsense further, given that in the game in fact there is no adequate alternative to these rings, everything else just and close to not give as much as they are
Other things not giving close to as much upsides while the general power level of an item is vastly above the norm mandates the rarity to respectively high.
Bro… if you’re not using Runes of Ascension to create a Red Ring, you are 100% doing it wrong. Every try has the same rate as target farming Unique/Set nodes in Age of Winter. And if you’re CoF and not doing this, that’s 100% on you that you aren’t swimming in those rings by now.
Thats the thing the way imprinting was. Actually didnty really affect anything nor did it hurt trading.
Alpt pf MG players over on reddit have said countelss times. MG wasnt affected by hiw imprinting worked.
So what one season lets players get loot mich easier. Which can be rained in in the jext season. I mean hell even poe had leauges like this where unquies where dropping far far more often then they usually do.
I’ve to date never seen a 1 LP red ring in Legacy MG because they’re bought out the second someone lists them, they’re just that rare. I’ve seen 15 listed at once this time. Usually you see between 5-10 0 LP ones listed.
Ravenous Void? 80 damn listings! It was ridiculous.
So ‘not affecting MG’ is a darn joke. At the lower end - which is already a massive mess anyway - it can’t affect anything because everything’s broken anyway when the first time some uniques have at least 50k Gold value is when they have 4 LP… 50k Gold… for a 4 LP unique.
Just no… dude just quit it with ur assuming addiitude
My point was about being open to understanding why people are making these post about this change.
All ur doing is assuming and hand waving away why people are saying the things they are. About this
Lack of care about the health of the game to a degree. Bro ur assuming yet again. Enough
I didnt point out that it should be fixed. If i didnt have an crap to give i would he saying fix it in season 3 or fix it in the CT (where this crap should be getting caught) nor would i jabe said this should jave been fixed week one of seaon 2
U want to uave a real conversation in detail about why these post are being made or u just just going to assum and hand wave it away as
But but all u want is to exploit it but but u dont seem to care about the health of the game. If ur foing to keep that mind set up. Talking to u is pointless on this matter
Either there should be an adequate alternative for the conditional attribute staker in the game, which maybe you’ll stay with, because you won’t see the red ring with 1 lp
I mean… there’s a distinct need for a lot of different uniques filling holes in builds which are generally sub-par compared to the others. The unique variety is decent definitely, could always be better though, by far even.
All I can say is that RNG is RNG. The bug fix is totally fine. The imprints are a good addition to the game. Some people play only 1 character an entire season because that is what they enjoy. Nobody is sweaty on this game since the only sweat is from literally min maxin that +3 extra dmg in end game at 10 billion corruption. The issue is with you not with the game same with many other games where…RNG is involved so it can take you from 10 hours to get that item you want to 1000 cause you are unlucky while others got that item 300 times already. RNG is RNG no matter how you try to see it. Even with the imprints you can not get shiz if you are that unlucky. That is how I see it.
+1 to this. There is no such thing as target farming if other items drops as well. The essence of crafting is to make your build work (or stronger). And if target farming fails you every day, players will get tired easily.
Downsides are players who played with their build, and make item combinations aside from the guide they follow are currently being held back by the supposedly “nerf” imprints in patch 1.2.3.2. Other players who already made their build work and already took advantage of the supposedly “nerf” before this patch (1.2.3.2) just have a great day farming for other alternate characters.
The only problem I had with the patch 1.2.3.2 is that the items you target farmed will take you days before you get it (at least in my experience). That took my precious time instead of trying other characters. Right now, I jut feel that I don’t have time to try other builds or characters. I was stuck hunting the targetted items I want for my character for weeks.
The main problem is that people are not familiar/okay with the concept of chase items. Red Ring is supposed to be very rare, it’s supposed to be so rare that you should not be able to plan a build around it because chances are you will not see a single one drop in a season. The idea of chase item is that you drool over them, longing for them which makes you play the game more. You can argue that it’s bad design but this is a very core concept of the ARPG genre since Diablo.
I have around 1500 hours of playtime and dropped like 3 Red Rings naturally. It’s that rare. I don’t even farm it with CoF prophecies because I don’t even plan to use it. I’m happy if it drops and I might use it if my builds allow it but I don’t ever plan a build using 2 Red Rings because it’s unrealistic. And that’s okay. You can clear every single piece of content in the game without ever having a Red Ring. You certainly don’t NEED one.
Being able to print dozens of such a rare chase item is absurd, it’s obviously a bug that must be fixed.
To be honest, runes of havoc feels a bit like the buggy imprinting, being able to create a T7 +4 skill of your choice that you can slam into a 1LP unique guaranteed in matter of minutes feels a bit off.
Being able to choose a guaranteed slam and being able to easily create any T7 affix made progress so much faster that having this bugged imprinting was not even that out of place, I give you that though.
Well, show a relevant version of rings for staker attribute in endgame that will give the ability to increase corruption, have damage and survivability. The answer is there are no such rings in the game.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t have time to play the game all day long and wait for this ring to fall to me from the prophecy/on the floor, I see more adequate progression, that it fell to me 1 time, I put it in the imprint and went to farm new ones, knock out LP on them. Just like in general with any other item that falls randomly on the floor.
With the current change can not count on such a progression, it does not work because do not fall items from the imprint, as a result, I believe that objectively normal builds in the game remain all kinds of void knight, which are dressed in the boss drop items
And with any conditional attribute stacker can be collected without much hope that you will be able to collect a version of the build with good damage and survivability, well, or you are unemployed and sit in the game 24 hours).
I am one of the players who unknowingly exploited that bug until i saw the bugfix and figured out that it was a bug. I couldn’t care less if EHG decided to delete every item produced through the exploit since that would free up to 2-3 tabs full of useless titan hearts with 0LP or 1LP but bottom rolls. I got both my red ring and orian’s eye after the bugfix through CoF target farming from prophecies(Orian’s Eye) and Ascendancy Rune (Red Ring) which is the legitimate way to get both items. Second red ring or orian’s eye will drop the exact same way(CoF/Craft) so there’s nothing to complain about.
When i was looking at 3-4 Titan Hearts being dropped from the same echo completion reward it made me curious but then i thought that it’s working this way because the rolls will probably be bad (which wasn’t the case at all).
When i saw people going nuts in both forum and in-game chat it clicked. Bug exploits should be fixed and the items that were produced through that I exploit should be deleted, yet they didn’t delete a single item but people kept complaining.
If i log today and i see that the Titan Heart i use got deleted because it was the result of an exploit i won’t get mad because that’s FAIR for everyone and having half a dozen red rings with the drop rate that item has is extreme unless you’re spending thousands and thousands of favor for prophecies or millions and millions of gold to buy or in a some cases be extremely lucky.
Being able to invest more time than others in the game should reward you with better chances to get that extremely rare item to drop compared to others who can’t invest as much time as you can.
It shouldn’t reward you with 2-3 red rings on a daily basis while others invest 2-3 hours a day because that’s the time they’re able to invest due to other responsibilities and priorities.
Well, if you have time 12 hours a day just for the sake of putting together a cool build - go ahead and spend a billion favors on red rings with light potential)
I don’t know how much time people used to spend on this to make a good build stacker attribute with red rings, but in the end, with the original version of imprint it looked adequate, you got the item 1 time, you went to play the right monolith with the right blessings, in this item in imprint, spending a blessing on this item, generally doing everything to get it, and you know that you will get it with 3 lp most likely in the next 3-5 hours of play, repeat this with all items - you get a coolly dressed character, then go play on a new character, try a different build, build a different build on the current character.
Currently, if you play on a build where you need a rare item with a low drop chance - you will most likely either not collect a really strong version of this build, or you have to spend a billion favors and the same number of hours on it. In the end, your only adequate option in the entire game is erasing strike VK, which all unique items are boss drops, considering that you want to close all content in the game and reach high corruption
If it so happens that this stinking ring is needed in a bunch of builds, I do not understand the reason for its rarity, personally for me it is just not interesting to play on a build that I will not be able to collect in adequate time frames
