Uninstalling / Reinstalling the game will not affect the savegames.
The savegames are stored in:
Driveletter:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games
Each character is stored in a separate savegame file with a second older copy of the file with the suffix ā_tempā.
Sometimes when the game crashes while trying to save a character it can corrupt the savegame.
You can try and find out which savegame your Mage was by opening the savegame files one at a time and reading the first line with the character nameā¦
once you find the mage savegame, you can then try and replace the normal version with the _temp version - if this version is not corrupted, then it should āreviveā your Mage - it will obviously lose a little progress but it should still be thereā¦
If that doesnt work, then your Mage is goneā¦
Warning: If you are using Steam Cloud saves, this will likely not work.
Note: I personally backup all my savegames (and global stash files) manually before I play LE⦠I do this with all games that are in Betaā¦
