I have been trying for the last hour. gone from 6.7k to 0 back to 128 and 77 now 24. This queue is definitely overloaded. First Log in too. My friend got right into their account 
I think its a noob problem
Just as a follow up on the GPU heating up on the queue screen, if you open the settings menu before hitting play it lets you change settings while in queue even though the settings button is usually hidden in queue.
I messed with the settings and watched my GPU temperature. Itās hard to say for sure since it goes up an down a bit even without changing anything, but I think volumetric lighting and screen space reflections increase it the most going from very low to ultra. Reflections and ambient occlusion also seemed to maybe have a smaller impact.
Going from ultra to very low I donāt actually notice any visible difference in the queue screen, so Iām not sure why it has a 15ish degree difference in GPU temperature. Although, I canāt see part of it since I have the settings menu open while doing this so maybe there is something actually changing.

you would think they would have a moderator replying on the forumsā¦ i think this game just got WAY bigger than they can handle. they need to hurry up and buy more servers/pay for some more help or the game is going to fall apart before it starts.

I canāt see how the number displayed is an accurate reflection of position. I started at 499 and then when to 793. Back down to 601, then 505 now back to 741!
The only way it makes any sense is if itās attempting different server locations or different instances at the same location. But even that seems a bit borked.

gaveup after 1.5hours in the queueā¦ played offline for 20min. got to level 6. tried online again. didnt work. my offline character was gone as wellā¦ didnt save. great gameā¦ it was fun for the 20 minutes but im not playing again until you guys fix this

Same here, My que has been going from 0 to 200 over and over for a few hours now. Any one have word if the Devs have a fix up the pipe?

So i was in q for multiple hours and no advance, i did what everyone else has suggested, restart, reinstall, us a vpn ECT. Nothing worked. HOWEVER, I made another steam account, enabled family sharing on my main steam account and launched the game on the NEW account and I got right in every single time. Seems my main account is forever trapped in a Q that doesnt exist. Hope this helps some of you guys get in.

Last tweet I see was 3h ago, last discord message in News section was 2 hours ago.
Just within the past 10 minutes he has posted other messages on Discord in other sections saying theyāre deploying a fix to disable queues altogether. 
sounds like weāre going to be deploying a client update that disables queues all together
there will be a small update and we believe we have enough server capacity to just handle the load

building it now. Build + deploy Iād suspect is 15m - 1 hour if theres any issues we run into
