Aura of decay is going to be a lot of fun now. Also so happy they are removing death seal and reaper form as that really held build diversity back with their restrictive mechanics. I was gonna start necro but now thinking of Cold Lich and being Death itself.

If a tree has received significant changes, it receives a free respec: points become unallocated without loss, and can be re-assigned on first log-in.

Oh no I heard death seal, reaper form were removed? Honestly those 2 things killed the class and making builds. Hope they arenāt in the way anymore. If so big bummer.
Why not just let lich use exang and low life gear without the restrictive death seal function. Death seal and reaper form just meant I canāt wear this item or that one or try this build. Was so annoying to try and create something fun. Just clunky and in the way.

Huge fan of the Acolyte and Necromancer. Been wanting to go Lich for quite some time so I hope that it is a viable type of build end game. Think I will be checking it out with the new update.
Never played Lich! I have had a necro every season though. In honor of Heavy I might try it lol

sorry I dont agree. when you learn how to play it properly and your gear is good enough that is fun. It offers a unique playstyle which is itself a good thing
@Heavy You gave me now even more reason to try Lich. Gonna hunt those axes. New item seems very cool and also art is top notch.

Sorry I disagree, death seal and reaper form are 100% holding the Lich class back from creating interesting builds. The skills are just in the way. If you like it coolzies but they are the main reason I donāt and most players donāt play lich. It has nothing to do with playing properly, itās more like jumping through specific hoops to make antiquated mechanics function.
Hopefully reaper form is gone like I heard and hopefully we donāt have to use death seal.

but if you dont like Lich mechanics you can play one of 14 other masteries and we who really like that mechanics canāt enjoy it anymore . that is just not fair.

The reason why Lich is the least played class is people donāt enjoy it. The design is restrictive, unfun and well you get it. Not gonna hyjack this thread anymore said what was needed and want to be positive and hope Lich rework is enough to FIX it so it can be an enjoyable Class for people to finally play.
If Lich is still terrible as you say at least we got the other masteries and canāt wait for the Primodial items to create super fun builds. Have a good one and enjoy the season
