I helped a friend to kill the “Octopus” boss (end of path VIII?), and now I don’t have the entrance for the quest in topic. The place where I took the ride on the boat before has no entrance, and I have the quest unfinished on my quest log.
How can I get to the Isle of Storms, if I do not have an open waypoint?

I had to ask a friend who had the waypoint to group with me, travel to waypoint, and I teleported to her. After that, the quest auto-marked as completed, and I was able to finish all other side quests, grab the other waypoints, etc.
I opened a ticket before all that to try resolving the issue, and it was a worthless endeavour.
