Did you just purchase the game and login for the first time via Steam? Sometimes it takes a little while to link Steam to EHG logins on the backend…
Most times its instant, but sometimes with the renewed interest when new patches drops it can be delayed with new accounts etc…
If its been many hours then there could be something wrong and you might need to submit a ticket to EHG via their support page
Yes, i’ve purchased on Steam and login for the first time after seen the last patch and interesting end game content.
I can understand it takes times but it’s really an issue and it’s only a patch, what it will be with a big launch ?

I am sure its just while the game is in Early Access. They dont even have the MP available yet because they have confirmed they are still working on the backend and new login systems to handle it… I am sure that by launch there will be a lot more infrastructure than they have now…
If its not working after a few hours then there could be a problem and they might have to manually check your account… You can also login to the Lastepoch page to check if your account is functional and linked…
There is also the standalone player that doesnt use Steam at all that you can try (from the same link above).
I bought game code from Nexus.gg, and used it on steam. Then i created account in game and from this time (5 hours ) i cant login into game.
Cant say for sure, but thats probably too long… even with Steam delays etc…
Can you login to the EHG website account page ok?
I’d probably submit a support request (link above) and hope they will get back to you while you keep trying every so often…
ps… note, I dont work for EHG, I am just a player like you trying to help out so dont take my suggestions as gospel…
Same here, just bought the game 1 hour ago from Steam and created an account inside the game, tried verifying game files etc, not working yet. Just sent a ticket to support. Hope I can play this saturday 
Bought through Steam within the last hour and I’m having the same issue. I can understand login congestion, but not recognizing the game at all is very disappointing. Will be refunding if it doesn’t work within the next hour.
Update: Issue resolved itself after about an hour after purchase.
It has been almost 24h now for me… still cant connect cause of this issue…
Hey there… did you submit a ticket (direct link above or via Last Epoch Support Hub)…
If its taken that long to work, EHG probably needs to check your account - and those kinds of things require support tickets to get someone to specifically check. Cant really be done via the forum post…
