Launch Trailer : Tombs of the Erased

Well, now you basically drop the blessing with the specific roll and then you’ll need to ‘apply’ it to the specific character you want to have it on.

So a middle-thing between ‘all characters have the best-rolled version available’ and ‘you have to re-grind with each individual character’ simply. Makes sense for the position there. Not too short-timed but also not as time-extensive as it is now since it was a bit too much to re-grind.

Oh thank god. I have been terrified that I’d have to have PoE 2, with GGG’s love of RNG and hatred of the player (and all that comes with it), on my rotation.

LE 1.2 is looking large!

It’s greedy of me to hope, with all that’s being added, but I :crossed_fingers: that you’ve also found some time to do a balance pass (especially to the older classes/masteries).

Man i hate the last epoch camera angle.

also it still looks like the characters are gliding on the ground.

Its Huge damn

There’s no change to the blessing system? They have been viewable from your inventory UI for a long time now.

Trailer is well done, updates looks really good. Seems you guy’s have been busy. Looking forward to coming back and playing a bit!

Today is the day Aaron decided to go skiing, lol. Anyways, GREAT trailer!!! I was bummed out by that 15 second teaser one, this one is legit!

There is, you can see in the trailer that blessings are itemized now. Not simply viewable but interchangable between characters and able to be stored in your stash.

Technically blessings have always been items in the code. Blessings are not going to start dropping as items that can be put in your inventory. Don’t read into that shot. It is possible to generate Blessing “items” using dev tools and it looks like that accidentally happened for the capture.

Incredible trailer. I’ve been critical of the delay between seasons but this patch looks well worth the wait.

Question: Is there going to be an update to the Stash search capability in this patch?

Can’t wait to come back to the game. So hyped.

I agree.

We will have to see how this is implemented. Hopefully the mastery respec is something that makes u think about switching. By that i mean not on the fly kinda thing. But an expensive thing to do like say 5mil gold or something like that.

Honestly if its gold. That will force players that otherwise do not want to trade into MG cuz it will be far easier to swap masteries in MG than in CoF.

Edit: imo there shouldn’t be any insensitive to go MG other than do u want to trade or not. This may add an insensitive. Which imo wasnt the point of the item factions

Ok so the new Rogue skill Heartseeker seems to be a bow skill looks very similar to burning daggers in cinder strike(maybe it is also proccing burning daggers). There is also a unique helmet that seems to turn it into a throwing skill.

Woven Offering looks good to perfect unique items but the roll ranges are so awkward for some of them…

Rune of Havoc looks good especially if you want a rare class specific exalted mod. Rune of Redemption could be good to gamble on T7 mods on good bases (particularly chest suffixes for % health and boot prefixes for movespeed).

Rune of Weaving is kinda dissapointing, I guess it makes unveiling your WW items faster but doesn’t help with the awful RNG. Hopefully there are some other changes to the WW mechanic.

Gonna ignore the new WW uniques since they gonna roll awful anyways.

Shattered Worlds Relic looks INSANE, New BiS for any build not reliant on a specific relic and more sources of base crit always good. Its thankfully a unique so it’ll have LP available. I’m guessing this is the Uber Aberroth drop to compete with Nihilis.

Pearls of the Swine (Bone curse amulet) looks amazing for my build. I already push 1200 corruption with Bone curse but this amulet might help push further. Its also most importantly a really good way of spreading Acid Skin and could make it actually viable to clear with Acidbane and poison damage for capped crit.

Hopefully, the new cocooned basetypes are more common than the Nemesis basetypes…

Champion affixes look pretty busted. I guess its alright if they are blocking sealed affixes. This also means they can’t be added as legendary affixes which is very GOOD imo. They also seem to be significantly strong with weaker version of unique mods or skill specific mods. But I guess it will be a pain to get the right mod on the right base.

Also it looks like in one of the samples there is a Rogue Helmet with Lightning blast chain chance affix… Hopefully this will not be the case in the actual release as it would be very annoying.

It was worth the wait thanks!

In-game payments for content access (Lightless Arbour rewards), functional payments (respec, stashes and whatever else comes) and ‘general’ item or resource acquisition should be Gold in my eyes. MG should’ve a separate currency solely used for it. Would make balancing a lot easier and not ‘muddle’ it between them.

Also in my personal opinion Favor could then be phased out for MG, making the mechanic feel unique rather the homogenizing it to CoF other as each can be balanced progression-wise but has different demands after all. Given we have 4 factions in 1.2 we’ll already have 2 which work primarily on progression-basis rather then any proper reputation and favor grind anyway as it seems.

The resource-management from EHG needs still a bit of work, but the direction they showcase for the game progression overall seems good with what’s presented in the trailer.

As for the respec… it isn’t showcased what exactly it will cost, either an oversight or simply not ready to showcase yet. But it should be at least a substantial effort to change and reliant on character level as well.

Edit:

Redemption is bad for gambling. Havoc is the superior option overall unless you’re specifically looking to get a T7 common affix on it.
With Havoc you can use a removal, then slap T1 movement speed on it, then use Havoc to make the T1 into a T7.

With Redemption it’s a single-slot chaos glyph that doesn’t increase the tier, so it has only outlying uses when you’ve got a finished item with 3 T5 affixes but the exalted affix isn’t a decent one. That happens very rarely, but at least it’s taken care of. Fringe uses are generally a good thing.

I dunno, depends on what those ‘legendary affixes’ are. They weren’t showcased, we got no examples provided at all. Could be absolutely overpowered or absolutely worthless.

True. Thats why i used the gold as an example. To make it have weight to the choice. Vs just swap when ever. It could even be some sort of ruin that drops. That lets u switch. Kinda like regret orbs from poe but for masteries instead.

MG having its own currency would go along way into keep item factions being do u want to trade or not. Vs having a respec that will be miles easier to do in MG.

Incredible, WASD + Mastery respec in addition to an insane amount of new content, resources, reworks, and fixes.

I was not expecting WASD and respec but I stand corrected.
