COMING TO ETERRA WEDNESDAY APRIL 2ND, 2025

From deep within Her web, The Weaver calls and the Woven Disciples have answered…will you?

Today, we’re excited to share the Last Epoch Season 2 Launch Trailer: Tombs of the Erased.

Bringing a new Faction and new Woven Echoes, Travelers can learn more about the mysterious Weaver, Her influence over Eterra, and perhaps even Her plans for it in Last Epoch’s Season 2: Tombs of the Erased update.

While exploring these mysteries, Travelers will face formidable Champion Enemies and Mini-Bosses, earning powerful rewards along the way. Through enhanced Crafting systems, you’ll strengthen these treasures as you prepare to confront familiar enemies who have grown even more dangerous in their pursuit to reshape your Fate.

The new Last Epoch Season means a new set of Twitch drops and a brand new “Support-A-Creator” campaign.

You can read all the details regarding the Twitch drops and how to sign up to earn them here - Tombs of the Erased Twitch Drop Campaign

The launch of Season 2 will also bring new Supporter Packs. All of our Supporter Packs, including the new Woven Series (we will have more on those in the coming weeks), Deluxe Edition, and Ultimate Editions, will be available at the launch of Season 2 via Steam and the in-game shop. However, the Eternal Supporter packs will leave the store forever on April 18th, so make sure to snag it before it’s gone!

Also, please note that items from the Eternal Supporter Packs will not be added to the in-game shop as individual items once these packs rotate out, so be sure to snag your favorite before it’s gone.

LEEEETSSSSSSSSSS GOOOOOOO

Trailer genuinely looks lit!

(And I wonder how many streamers are already oging frame by frame to snag tooltips  )

Looking Hype!! Super excited!!

logiin to LE!!! <3

I wasn’t planning to play, but with WASD, I have no choice.

HYPE! I am so excited for this season to get here!

Let’s gooooo!

Ok, dismantling the trailer there a bit:

From what we’ve been able to see the woven monoliths are one of the best ideas the game has provided to date! The ability to actually put down the content you as a player want is fantastic, just what the game needed!

No clue how the champion enemies will be… but the champion affixes are a much much needed variety for building items. I just hope given the new variability in items this way will lead to easing up on the crafting limitations a little bit. Otherwise we’ll see a situation where good items on good bases with a good champion affix will simply be a unicorn. Experimental affixes already suffer under that despite there being an option to actively put them on an item, because FP is such a heavily limited resource to work with.

Woven offerings… umh… what are they? What do they do? Would’ve been nice to see an example, dunno if I can say ‘great! More of that!’ or ‘don’t care’. I would prefer to see the potential impact of the outcomes rather then only that a new system is implemented.

New runes: Fantastic! Same thing though… FP limit is massive, they’ll barely be usable since we can’t even re-roll inside the roll-range currently and hope for a viable outcome in the end. Havic Rune has great potential though, Redemption rune seems useless, a T1 rare affix with a T7 exalted is a better potential outcome then Redemption can ever provide, it has likely no function besides being a ‘player trap’. No clue about the weaving one, might be interesting, once more, examples of potential outcomes would’ve been great.

Mastery respec is one absolute disaster in my eyes. Shame that the option between ‘more character slots’ and ‘mastery respec’ has led ultimately to mastery respec in the end. That’ll be a long-term detriment for the longevity of the game.

Inventory tabs are… ok? Might becomes quite cluttered in the future, could’ve done those in a ‘resource’ UI instead, including shards for the forge.

Dungeon charms… great! Would’ve preferred a proper re-work of the dungeon content rather then just ignoring its existence. Can’t undo such things easily in the future after all, tons of potential lost for the game.

WASD beta support… interesting! We’ll see how good or bad it looks, hopefully not too grating, but that it comes? Absolutely amazing!

Overall I would’ve enjoyed the trailer to be a minute longer and actually showing us proper examples of the mechanics which had those missing rather then skipping over them. 4 minutes instead of 3 wouldn’t be an issue.

But overall? I think 1.2 will be sufficient to bring people back, even with leagues of other H&S games around the corner. Great overview of changes, now it comes down to quality and how much the core aspects which aren’t ‘up to par’ yet will fit together with them.

Even if it will be stuck in place when casting any skill, if we can just move around with WASD and the dodge follows the direction given by WASD instead of the mouse, it’s a huge improvement for me.

Everything else is of course super interesting but the WASD was the only thing that was literally keeping me on a “meh” position. It’s been years that I’ve waited for arpg to adopt it as an input model.

Thank you EHG for pushing this in, even if in a beta state <3

What’s the reasoning behind moving blessings to the inventory? Does this mean they’ll drop as loot now? And will we be able to trade them on the bazaar? I’m a bit confused by this change, as the current blessing system, where you can replace them, works well

It would at least allow switching them between character you have rather then re-grinding them on every single one individually. So you can have blessings handled for your second character the moment you reach monoliths rather then needing to grind them up by repeated tries.

Jesus Christ that’s a lot of content! <3

Ok, now that’s a trailer worth watching. A lot of hype in there to look forward to. Some changes that weren’t expected but many wanted, shows you are listening and willing to change course.

Been a big supporter for quite some time now and looking forward to seeing how these changes look in game-time.

I understand your point of view, and it really makes sense! But they could have just given us the option to choose blessings from a general pool when first visiting the monoliths. Now, as I understand it, we will have to transfer the necessary blessings between characters, since they will now be in a single version, if we are talking about a blessing with the best rolls
