Last epoch repair something in my computer .what is happening

i did not know exactly where to put this so here i go.

This post isn’t necessarily a problem with last epoch but something that last epoch fixes and i want to understand it.
For a couple months now: When my computer come back from sleep mode, the fan all goes at 100%, never going down .
I tried searching in bios and used multiple tool to try and control them without any result.
I can play for multiple hour without the fan subsiding.
if i close the computer and restart, the problem is gone.
Only happen when going back from sleep mode.

NOW the interesting part. Opening Last Epoch and getting on the login screen make the fan all go back to normal. Always.
Has been my go to solution for the past few months.
my question is what is happening at the login screen? So that i could maybe reciprocate or at least find the root of the problem.

Sounds like you have windows 10, many users have reported certain USB devices being unplugged prior to sleep mode initiation can resolve this.

As well, if you have your fans set to 0 rpm, this is an obvious compensation until the gpu or cpu is being utilized to change a fan curve setting.

As well you can utilize software to predefine fan curves and prevent this issue from happening further. You’ll want to check technical issues with similar pc issues, as this is not a game specific issue, this is your hardware, software or settings most likely. Good luck!
