While I understand the logic behind this, I think you might underestimate the capacities of the player-crowd to find these interactions and the will to expose them. People love to expose others who play “unfair” in their oppinion.

If there is a promlematic interaction that has succesfully been kept a secret, its most likely not that problematic, or publicly known enough for people to care. What they do care about though is known issues that are not taken care of.

If all of a sudden one class dominates the leaderbords, people will look into why is that… and as the class is dominating, obviously enough people will know why it is (cause they are doing it), and content creators will always be on the lookout for bugs to expose as it generates high views.

Please fix profane veil. People abusing this know that they are exploiting.

All completely awful changes. so what if some people level CoF chars to farm some key prophecies? If they want to spend their time on that so be it.

Keys were one of the few items still resonably worth picking up among the troves of garbage that drops when playing CoF. I enjoyed Last Epoch dropping identified items at the start since that had me looking at loot and picking up things that felt valuable. Late game nothing is valuable, no items sell for any interesting amounts, keys were the closest thing to something besides the trickle of gold that were remotely interesting to actually click.

Now we’ll be back to only picking up things every 50-60 echoes since it all is hidden by the garbage collection rules.

XP Tome doubling just feels like crap… the whole system is a time sink looking for item base combos with rolls that are extremely rare and just shoveling crafting at them hoping something doesn’t brick to slam on your unique that will likely pick up the wrong rolls and needing to move to the next one… Doubling the amount of prophecies seemed to be in line with the lenses that boosted this as well to give some remote point of doing echoes back but yeah… apparently not.

Thanks for being brutally honest with every interaction. The level of communication is incredible.

Having said that -

In Brazil it’s still impossible to play in parties. In contrast, I see streamers play with friend a lot (in parties of 4??? How???).

Lots of errors and LE-61 Failed to Matchmake. You know what it means when people can remember an error code by heart, we saw it too much already. I’m looking forward to that being fixed (as it’s been a while) and I know you guys are making a lot of efforts to it.

I don’t care about ladders, but if I would, I’d be doing a Profane Veil build after reading this post and the answers. Looks broken so it looks fun.

All I can say is if you want to fix bugs then fix them all to be fair to all players.

Extra xp and silver for CoF is found so aggregious to be fixed right away but game breaking builds that let people go to 2k++ corruption is fair game?

Strong builds being strong are okay but when it is totally imbalanced leaving all other builds 500-1000 ranks behind in arena then surely there is something wrong.

Why they don’t want to fix it immediately nor remove ladder entries with these broken builds are beyond me.

Holy fuck people are cry babies. Play the game for fun, doesnt matter if its broken or not. 98% of you arent gonna have any impact on the leaderboards anyways. And even if the ward wasnt broken as fuck everyone is just gonna play whatever is the strongest anyways. Its no different in poe.

As far as gold for cof goes…thats the trade off from merchants guild. You get access to really powerful gear drops at the cost of making tons of gold. Be smarter about what you pick up, some of you having over 90 stash tabs is ridiculous.

I’m all for fixing the Ward related bugs asap. I say this as someone who is playing Warlock atm, and as someone who thinks, Ward in general is fine outside of 3-4 broken cases. I would enjoy my character more, if it didn’t have access to what is essentially godmode. I actually firmly expected these bugs to be fixed at this point, wich is the reason, that i didn’t stop playing the character yet. (Well, that, and Fissure being fun.)

The administration has already replied to us that they are not going to do anything, that “all the assemblies are already good, you just didn’t find the ones you need” - this is the answer from the Administrator under the nickname Heavy…

Or may be a a cycle 2 faster (1/2week) and fix ?

That is, the project administration says “Look for builds on which you can also easily play 1000+ karapts.” For example, I asked for a build on “Kuznets” which can play 1000+ karapts, they told me that they were not going to show anything…

We REALLY hope you guys know this kind of behavior is what almost caused PoE to become a dead game a couple years ago, after Archnemesis league. We’re not talking nerf/balance here, it’s a downright BUG. And, because of this bug, the only leaderboard in the game is completely one-sided. Since PoE’s new league starts in 3 weeks, it actually makes me wonder if we were all just expecting too much too soon from LE/EHG…

Same comment was made on PoE Forum back in 2013…

trade off for getting real powerful gear? hmmm, MG gets the real powerful gear LP3 and LP4 items way easier than CoF. no matter if you get 10 times the loot of a player (which isn’t even the case), no chance versus hundreds of thousands of players in trade

It’s not about smarter. you can’t just mass buy cheap 1LP 2Lp items you fuse over and over again till you get something good. you have to keep stuff you might need for a future builds/chars. keep those LP items, keep those T7 exalted items. no buying on demand if you need to fuse a certain t7 stat, you need to have it stashed or spend rng time long farming.

Trade basically can get waaaaaaay more gold than CoF and doesn’t even need to buy any stash tabs. just hoard gold and buy anything on demand

what about a falconer? this class is insanely btroken and neds a heavy nerf same as a ward interraction with bone prison. according to the arena ledearboards there are as much falconers as infinite ward warlocks. Falconers definetely needed to be shut downed to the ground so other classes can compete with them

Well, tell me then why do the players in these classes climb into the top ladders of the table? and everywhere solo, 2x, 3x, 4x, it doesn’t really matter. That they sit there up to 2000+ waves all day on the ass exactly.

CoF nerf is awful, arena keys now make no more sense as Monolith rewards. There isn’t anything that replaced the keys, and experience rewards nerfed is also pretty dumb meanwhile Merchants Guilds Players can make millions, buy exactly what they need and get favor for each item listed there they don’t even need to sell those, just breaking any sense of balance.
