Dont fix the profane veil bug, im literally waiting for the weekend so i can continue farming the gear for it, i like playing very strong builds that make feel like god. so a nerf now will make me sad
Half the people here complaining about nerfs and the other half is like “iT mAkeS 0 seNsE nOt to neRF”. Imagine choosing a career path where you have to constantly cater to a mass of incoherent manchildren. My condolences to game developers everywhere.
just buff all other builds that dont affect these ;D for necro minions now grant 100% damage done as ward onhit etc…

Warlock is unkillable and necro with wraithlord destroy bosses on 3s, this really kill my feeling with others builds after trying them, and i don’t even talk about the ladder being useless now, sooooo bad move for the first cycle.

The CoF nerfs are kinda baffling to me, isn’t CoF already vastly inferior to MG?
I understand making the distinction that your guild shouldn’t impact your XP gains, but this is a huge nerf with no compensation buff when CoF was already weak.
Without considering the power level of the interaction, the change seems to be gutting the design purpose of that skill node.
The smoke bomb duration extension from the skill node is using the current remaining duration of smoke bomb rather than the base duration of 4 seconds. The skill node, when working as linear scaling, would provide 1.6 seconds per dive bomb hit (1 dive bomb cast typically will have between 1-7 hits when 3 shadows are present). However, the current calculation scales as remaining time * 1.4^x with x being the number of dive bomb hits. Each cast of dive bomb can effectively extend the current duration by 10 times.
Even with the 1.6 second extension per hit, it is still possible to indefinitely extend the smoke bomb in 1 location as long as it is being spammed with dive bomb on cooldown, but it cannot be extended to multiple minutes or more from the exponential scaling that it currently has.
Man-up and do the nerfs, this isn’t xitter nobody in their right mind will get offended if you destroy masteries that are undeniably OP, if they do it means they’re cognitively impaired anyway.
While I understand the reason for the change with keys selling, I don’t think it’s good, because you can make millions with MG while you’re struggling to get tabs with CoF and exp tomes are kind of a “yeah, sure” node, they aren’t intended but they feel like a minor balance point compared to an immortal build.
Figured the keys were getting the nerf bat at some point. However for CoF a rank reward should be a 30% - 50% discount on lightless arbor chests. No problems with making it 8-10 on the reward structure. Just pull one of the 1-4 rewards out (looking at you idols lol) and shift everything down one.
Thank you EHG for your game, I like that you are reading the community, now, according to the topic of “nerfs” I would like you to concentrate your focus on the resolution of bugs rather than on a nerf that will be modified in a subsequent change of complete cycle.
I would also like to find a way to better level the factions, I feel that the purple faction is very good in ultra late game but the merchants is very very good as long as we do not reach 500+ corruption so to be testing characters and builds, we will always use more merchants, despite not having those juicy drops late.
I don’t understand why people are complaining or saying they are making a huge mistake, I don’t fully know the details of the skill in question, but I believe I read that they said their stance isn’t set in stone and open to change if there’s demand, so why are people just being so negative?
I’m very disappointed in that stance EHG.
Bugs needs to be fixed asap, particularly when it makes all classes subpar and only 1 BUILD to play for consistency.
It was not mandatory to have that stance before, but it is now. I’m not even talking about ladder, but i’m talking about the economic side of your game, you just destroyed it .
I dont have any courage anymore to farm with my current build after reading your stance.
why should i struggle with a normal build if i can straight up join the bugusing wagon with your approval?
In some games, these players are even banned for using this.
Please fix your stance, and quickly provide a fix for prophane veil. 4% was already insane (20K ward), but 40% and 200K ward for free, no guys you are making your game a joke.

Optimization is horrible, graphics settings don’t work properly (see my latest topic in bug report forum), game drops below 5 fps at times for no apparent reason on lowest settings.
I mean, cool you fix some skills, quest and ui…but what about making the actual game playable ?.

Such a disappointing take from a developer that should know better. The Cof changes and the refusal to balance are just huge misses and makes the game extremely unfun to play.
