Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a memory leak that would occur when interacting with stash items
  • Added multiple failsafes to prevent progression blockers with The Silent Coast and The Garden.
  • Fixed a bug where stat changes applied to the Abomination would sometimes cause it to be unsummoned, if it had been assembled by absorbing more Summoned Skeletons than the player’s maximum skeleton limit, via effects that would resummon a Skeleton when it died, such as the Unbound Necromancy node.

Changes

  • Added Logs when an item is purchased or sold through Hunters Vendor or Shop.
    • This has been added as part of our investigation into issues some players are experiencing purchasing Primordial Items. If you encounter an issue with purchasing Primordial Items after the hotfix, please check the “Buy Back” tab. If the issue persists, please submit a new bug report so we have these additional logs.

Fix the sound. After playing for more than 1 hour sound goes wonky and it starts lagging. I have to keep restarting every hour in order to play. Have a 4080 and rhyzen 9, high end pc and still this issue when playing on medium to low settings

File an in game bug is the best way to get ehg eyes on it.

Any fix for random crashes constantly loading between zones after a few mins of play?

I’ve filed it many times. It’s still happening, restarted my computer many times and also verified integrity on steam as well. Its not working, maybe if I post here it might work, trying to post everywhere hoping someone reads it

can we please fix the sound bug that has been on the game since launch? the sound bugs out then everything starts graphically lagging while the game then consumes 100% of ram and gpu. It’s all over the forums yet this has never been addressed.

Same here started for me after the hotifx patch the other day. Though this has been an ongoing issue since launch and still nothing

I just noticed that you forgot the Date Anything feature. Is that coming in a future hotfix? My Manifest Armor and Forged Weapons are horny boiz

Edit 1: The memory leak from the stash is still an issue, although there was quite an improvment. Keep up the good work!

Just give me a 40K Space Marine.

Tested for the bug, it’s still present. Tested across all content that utilizes the stash for crash rates, and it’s definitely the memory leak. 2-4 seconds before the lag spike hits, duration of the session being longer increases severity, more individual interactions contributes as well. A combination of a long session and multiple interactions nearly guarantees integrity failure and a crash. This especially sucks with Temporal Sanctum. I am too afraid to run it for anything of value because I’m not sure if it functions like other content and keeps the item or deletes it after a disconnection. Good luck pinning this one down. I’ll keep reporting in game after every crash. It would be helpful if I knew that the reports benefit from being sent after lag spikes as well. I’d rather not send a bunch of useless log submissions if I can avoid it.

Edit: As Krork said, it is significantly better in terms of performance overall. Just still present.

The only thing that has been affecting me since the season launch is that my rune counts are not updating in the UI. I submitted a few bug reports. Anyone else running into weirdness with it??

Yes sometimes that happens to me too. And occasionally when I change my gear for example swappig amulets - then for a second I have same copy of one amulet both in the gear slot and in my inventory and only after that it gets updated and I see correct amulets.
That happened with Lenses swapping in the Observatory too.

So good guys, thanks for making a MASSIVE improvement to the memory leak, seems to have almost completely fixed it.
Especially with stash for legacy players, for me it was just downright unplayable so i moved to seasonal for a day and a half, where it wasn’t effecting me,

Report on ingame performance: my game WAS instantly spiking to 16 gigs of mem use on interacting with stash (adding & removing items), then it would EITHER crash and i could play it again, or my whole system would crash, this was after i made efforts to increase pagefile size in windows from 5 to 15 gigs to 15 to 30 gigs (virtual ram??) on both drives, and also installed the latest c++ redistr. package. as well as nvidia drivers. My rig is a little old but still moderately good: gtx 1070, 16 gigs ram, i7 8th gen. can play most games on mid. was top of the range in 2018-19 :stuck_out_tongue:

Today, with the change, it is stable at around 6 - 7 gigs of Mem usage, and not crashing, although i believe my friend here ResplendentEgo when he says the issue still persists, exacerbated by length and amount of interactions with the stash, it is sooooooooo much better for me now, that i can actually play the game again.

(using task manager to view stats btw)

i was honestly, a bit depressed lol, wasn’t expecting the patch this morning, so that’s really great, thing is i had been playing 100+ hours last 2 weeks on void knight, and combined with the nerf erasing strike got and this legacy tab bug, i felt gutted, but, ya did it! fixed (:

With the new T8s/ Primal items, perhaps that 50% dmg loss can be made up for somewhat. I will just take this opportunity to say though: i think the nerf was really a bit overdone, and say 20 to 30% in total dmg reduction would have been warranted, but this actually erodes long term player trust, as, if after every season the Meta classes are nerfed by up to 50%, when players have ALREADY invested significant amounts of time into grinding a lot of gear for that specific character. The functionality with void well to 4 seconds also feels a bit bad, but, yeah, class is still playable, uber aberroth is now once again a huge challenge in the final phase.

they still havent fixed the sound bug. here i am 3 years later still suffering and having to restart the game every 20 min so i can see the screen
