In light of the new season launching soon, I am de-rusting my LE skills.
I have recently swapped over to Linux Mint on my desktop PC. No Micro$lop anymore.
I have noticed that the game is lagging pretty bad on boss fights only.
The rest of the battles are fine. Normal campaign travels are fine, in the city is fine.
The only problem is with boss fights.
I’ve made sure that my drivers are compatible, am running on Proton 9.04 via Steam (not experimental!), have 32GB DDR4, Radeon RX6900XT, Ryzen 5800XT, and the machine is nice and cool stable at 60c temps. No video playing on the other screen. Again, the only lag is on boss fights. I’ve turned the graphics down as as far as they can go, still the same issues. Capped FPS as well. The install is fresh. It does not matter if the game has been running for hours, or 15 minutes. If it’s a boss fight, then it’s lag city. I do sometimes get a Unity crash, and I’ve set the log for the next time it happens.
Any ideas?
