When doing the Isle of Storms quest once you gather the fragments you cannot open the portal. Stuck here killed my HC run. Everything else with this patch was great but cannot complete the campaign … Seeing posts about this going back 6 months so this has been broken at least that long. Only fix is to get someone to invite you and they go to the portal and maybe you can join them? Not really viable at this point or in solo. Guess that ends this cycle.
Update for people still finding this:
There is no “fix” but if you can get a temporal sanctum key you can unlock factions and be good to go into end game.

having the same problem here. i clicked the moon crystal before getting the main quest and when i did get the quest, the game didnt count as me already taken the moon crystal on the east island. such an annoying bug. would be very helpful if i at least could restart the quest
This is a real pain. I spent hours trying to just get anyone without brain rot to port me (and then “us” as we were 3 players asking for help with this).
There was even some EHG guy in the chat not helping.
Turned out I had the left part and another stuck player had the right part so we managed to help each other.
I’m stuck on the game making me go back to the east moon altar, but it’s just dark and can’t be interacted with. Solo offline. Stuck. Fix this. I’ve tried restarting several times.
edit: to be clear, this is the altar in the Coral Pools.
