That would be the Prepared Wards node if you have chosen it.
Thanks. I actually enjoy the build. Yeah, I just have it set to go off if I get stunned (Astonish node in the skill). If you want to be able to manually cast it, you’ll also have to ditch one of the lightning skills on the bar and spec it to be lightning instead of fire so you still get G/G/R for your your invocation. (I think.)
Anyone can share full cold dot build blizzard to I compare with mine?
Don’t most of the invocation spells scales with spell and intelligence tag? and specific elemental too.
Since they’re all elemental spells, yes.
I think the main problem is that the other spells have strong talent trees and crazy sinergy (like frost claw casting 3 times and also casting novas)
Invocation on the other hand only has mostly anti-fun nodes like adding a cooldown, incentive to cast rarely, locking the runes and having to use casts which have all 3 runes (so you can use only 6/40 variations)
I’d like to have nodes that stimulate using a lot of different invocations in quick succession like:
- Making filler spells do little damage but having low cast time
- Making invocations stronger if you use different ones
- Having better buffing/combo invocations (like haste - GRG and frenzy - RHR). Right now buffs last very little and don’t impact the gameplay a lot
- Having different invocations being good for different purposes (like right now hydrohedron / plasma orb are universally good vs both single targets and waves)
I utilize triple lightning invocation for Ball Lightning. This thing actually functions really well when you run penetration on invocation for chest and helmet (which also gives you insane passive wards with triple gon runes (Lightning). And then mix in the penetration from intelligence when you talent into it and then 15% more from the passive in the sorcerer tree then run the talents to the bottom left to pick up double casting it…
Fun fact, if you spec into Fire Elemental Nova you can take the skill point that makes it massive (screen filling - Inferno Nova), doubles ignite duration but adds a cooldown. A cooldown which Frost Claw proc ignores. I found that very cute and fun. And it’s amazing for Ignite-based builds.
