You never said anything about t25
And very often the difference is minimal depending in where the tiers are. Teir 25 can be inferior to 24

t24+ implies 25, etc…
and apples to apples higher tier is better, obviously
Thank you for finally clarifying (and quick editing) enough to be able to speak to people about the subject on common ground. Yes. One tier up on otherwise identical gear is better. Its also never going to happen.
never is strong word when the entire point of arpgs is 1337 rng loot drops. also, you havent addressed legendary slamming, which doesnt even bother with any sealing rng
No, it’s not a strong word. It’s reality. I’ve covered the way odds work in this game in previous posts. I didn’t cover legendary slamming because I’m not really interested in arguing with you. I saw some incorrect info and wanted to fix it so we don’t have even more misinformation in this thread.
its a game, game can be changed. what’s the point of the forum if nothing matters
I don’t even know what that means. Hopping out of this convo. Good luck.
have a nice day
my only complaint about crafting is yellow items using 10+ FP on a single craft. Its hard enough to find a decent base without two crafts using 20fp with glyph of hope. It would better if glyph of hope reduced the max fp used to 3-5 or something or max fp used on a yellow was reduced. perhaps scalingg up from whites using alot to purples using alot less.
On one hand hmm yea a hard cap of like losing at most 10FP per craft would be nice. Vendors wouldnt be so useless, and u couldn’t lose 70% of a yellow items FP by upgrading it from 8 affix tiers to 9. Maybe make FP depend on which tier is upgraded? so like adding a t1 mod or upgrading to t2 could cost a max of 5, whereas t5 can cost more, like 10-15 at most if unlucky on procs.
On the other, ingame loot filter system is so good that I bypass a need for this altogether. In just 200 hours played I have 8 stashtabs of exalted items filled fully, probably over a 100 items with 21+ affix tiers. Rares with 16 to 20 affix tiers drop at least once in every single echo. Rares of specific mods ive chosen with affix tiers 10-15 drop multiple per echo.
Ultimately I have very little trouble having all items have 3 or 4 useful t5 mods, or exalted. It seems like QoL in this way could turn this game into Easypoch. It’s already not a hard game as it is. No FP at all would definitely be too easypoch.
thats pretty luck dependant though, ive got 100 hours and im struggling to get the gear i need. im losing 40 fp on 3 crafts on an exalt and 25 on two with a yellow if i finally find a base. so im constantly swapping out pieces of gear depending on enemies cause i cant resist cap.
That sounds a bit excessive, personally I never had that many problems resist capping.
If you are struggling that much there are probably some things you are doing that are making things more difficult than needed.
Perhaps you are being too selective with your loot filter, or you are being too picky on what to craft on.
Crafting is a numbers game. In the system there is a lot of room for getting unlucky, but there is also a lot of room for getting very lucky. The only valid approach is to craft a lot, and set realistic expectations for the results.
Also, Idols, bases and blessings are very helpful for rounding up resistances.
Usually if you optimize them you can get away with very bad items and still have a functional build.
my build is great, but unfortunately im stuck trying to beat lagon cause the fight doesnt work well with dancing strikes(or rogues in general). eventually ill down him and move on to powering through content again so i can finish getting blessing and make it easier
hmm yes. Well, if you reach empowered monoliths with a somewhat meta/viable build, they just poop out high affix gear. Have you tried target farming tier 1 and tier 2 soulfire bastion? Easy exalted tiems
Most of the time, especially if you’re using Glyphs of Hope, crafting doesn’t cost that much. The way EHG have set up the crafting cost, if a craft rolls as “lucky” then the game rolls for the FP cost twice & takes the lower of the two, so they’re pretty generous as to not ####ing over the player on the FP cost of crafts.
They’ll always be less useful due to the low FP items from a vendor get & this is be design so we don’t just spam the vendor to get gear.
It kinda is already to an extent, going from 0-1 is always cheaper than the higher tier crafts.
i have not yet tried soulfire bastion, is it better than arena/temporal sanctum?
I’d say it is, I’ve never get so many exalted items as from Soul Gambler at the end of the dungeon. However, it requires thorough clearing of every mob to get maksimum possible soul embers, and these maps are big.
Thats not the case. The craft from 0-1 has a range from 1-18 while from 1-2 has 1-10 and the FP cost accelerates from that point on.
