As the topic states, I just purchased and installed the game and I am already very frustrated. Now, to be perfectly fair, I am able to play the game with all default settings…however…I am pretty picky about keybinds and I do not like the way the keybinds are set by default.
This is where I run into the issue. When enter the settings menu and select the option to change keybinds, it opens and I am able to change the keybinds. I want to note that I replaced the main keybinds fot Use Ability 1-5 with numbers 1-5, and then reassigned use potion to the tilde key, or as the game calls it, reverse quotes. at that point, if i click on “Done” it turns “Done” to a purple color, but it does not close the menu dialogue as I would expect. I changed no other keybinds, and the only key that was unassigned was the Use Potion key which I previously stated I replaced with a different key. At this point, the only option I have is to force close the game either with an Alt+F4 or via stopping it through Steam.
The only thing that is strange to me, is that it is showing I have a controller connected. When I first installed the game, I did have an xbox controller connected, but thought maybe that was the issue, so I removed it, and then unplugged it from my computer. It now shows the following:
Controller : Controller (XBOX 360 FOR WINDOWS)
but I am unable to “remove” it, nor can I click on Assign Controller, and nothing happens when I click on the box for the “Controller (XBOX 360 FOR WINDOWS)” box under “Assigned Controllers:”
This is getting frustrating. I really want to play the game, but this simple issue is discouraging me at this point. I am hoping you can help. I have done some searching but haven’t found a similar issue yet, but I will keep searching. Please respond if you know of a fix for this. TIA!
