I am pretty sure I am not the only one who experiences this but I cant seem to play LE for any decent length of time before my game freezes or crashes. I dont have a potato of a computer and I even lowered graphic settings just to be sure it wasn’t some weird graphical issue and I made sure my computer had any and all updates (bios, GPU etc). I also want to make clear what I mean by freezing which is the game becomes unresponsive and it doesn’t fix itself by waiting.
I have restarted my computer, I have made sure there were no programs running in the background to where it was just the game running. I am NOT playing this game through Steam I am playing through the LE launcher. I dont tab out of the game, I am not casting a bunch of stuff or have a million things going off on my screen, the freezing/crashing is completely random. I could be running, I could be in a fight or I could be standing still.
The freezing/crashing occurs when I am in The End of Time/Monoliths/Echoes. It does NOT specifically occur when I open/close up any skill windows or after I spend my points, as I mentioned, its completely random.
The game freezes more often then it crashes (crash=game closes out to desktop). The game freezes in two different ways. First, the screen freezes but sound, combat noise, moving my character still occurs. I know this because I was in combat when this happened and I killed everything while my screen was frozen and after waiting some time the game screen itself remained frozen even though I could still control my character. The second is your traditional freeze, everything just stops and no amount of waiting will resolve the issue so now you have to close out of the game. There is no set amount of time in which the crashes will occur, once again, its completely random.
I cant say that before everything was fine because I have only been playing a week and the last time I did play LE was over a year ago and I dont recall having these issues then. I have tried searching for some concrete solution but I haven’t been able to find anything. I would like to play more of this game but if there is no solution then I guess I am SOL.
If anyone has a solution please help me out.
