Hi Support,
I’ve been playing LE in the past without any issues.
Now suddenly my game crashes after 5-10min of playtime, this happened more than 5 times and it’s getting to the point that I am doing right now, to create a support ticket as I am not able to fix it myself.
Details of the issue:
My screen will begin to flicker 1x after ±10min of playing, then a couple of seconds later a second flicker will begin, after that second 2 things can happen, 1. the game freezes/crashes without any error message (LastEpoche.exe has stopped working) OR the game keeps running (sound is working, abilities are working) but my screen is frozen or I have a black screen, in this case I need to stop it via steam/task manager. This makes it hard to find the root cause since there is no real logging/crash data of LE itself.
One time, I had an unity error which I only had 1 times but seems to be gone after a Windows update.
Specs:
- Windows 10
- 1440p monitoring / 144 Hz
- GPU: GTX 1080 TI
- CPU: I7-7700K
- RAM: 16G
I’ve done the following myself to try to fix the issue:
- Re-installed my whole OS (Windows 10) - complete format and reinstallation
- Updating my GPU to the latest driver.
- Changing from full screen in game to windowed (borderless) mode
- Installed Windows Updates
Just for testing purposes I tried to run the game in Windowed mode and I’ve set the resolution to 1080p, after playing for more than 20 minutes, no crashes so it seems like it has to do something with my 1440p resolution although I am not sure.
However, this is not a pleasant gaming experience to have to play in such “low” resolution and small screen.
I am hoping that you can help me with this issue, please find my logs below.
