Game client is crashing on startup

I too am having a similar issue, I double click Last epoch on my desktop, a bar comes up fills about halfway and closes. I can’t get into the game.

Wait, is that the Steam version of the game?

The person in the other thread is posting about an error message being shown by our standalone launcher, which Steam users won’t have installed on their computers.

Yeah this is the steam version, did I post in the wrong thread? It’s the only one I seen about the game not launching.
