I got excited to play LE on my new pc the other day! I get 6fps on ultra or like 20fps on very low. It doesn’t seem normal. Here’s my new toy.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RAM: 32GB DDR5 DRAM 6000 MHz RGB
Graphics: RX 9070 XT
CPU Cooler: RGB AIO Liquid CPU Cooler
Hard Drive: 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD
Wifi+Bluetooth: Yes
PSU: 850W 80+ Gold
OS: Windows 11 Home
I downloaded AMD adrenaline edition, updated everything I could.
Tried the -force-d3d11 in the launching option. Run as administrator.
Verified the files integrity.
Could my older monitor be the sole problem?
I also had to uncheck the “windows error reporting service” from msconfig to solve another problem.
Edit: I now use the AMD fluid motion frame and on very low settings, I’m up to …30 frames. My older pc took 10 minutes to load the game and get in but when on a map, my fps was pretty nice. There must be something conflicting.
Got the game working properly, turned out my monitor was plugged in the motherboard instead of my Radeon 9070. I was noticing no GPU utilisation while the AMD motherboard was at 100 utilisation. Right-clicked AMD Radeon™ Graphics from the device manager to test while not disabling the RX 9070 XT. Thanks ChatGPT.
