Expanding on this thread: Potential Formosus Abuse + Lack of Clarity
While it’s true that Formosus doesn’t drop his specific loot, killing him still progresses prophecies, which makes grinding out specific ones a lot easier than other timeline bosses. Following is an example with glyphs of despair. Not sure if this is exactly a bug, so I’m posting it here.

Abomination would be the same thing, but personally, I don’t see it as a major issue unless you’re sitting on more Flavour gain than you complete Lens-ed up Prophecies.
Yeah, that’s fair. Still, it may be something to consider when balancing down the line.
