I ain’t been this excited for a game launch in a long time. But every time I do get excited for a game like this, I feel like a moron for thinking it’ll go well. Offline isn’t a option for people that want to play with friends and engage with the economy. Got to remember to temper expectations for game launches. It always seem that companies value saving money over their pubic opinion.
Where do you get all this whiners, lol, just literally wait a day. Of course it wont go good, if big companies always have issues on launch, how do you expect this one to be smooth, especially how popular and anticipated game become
keep crying and doomposting, server issues are not related to them trying to cheap on the servers, it’s an issue related to all modern online games on their release if online is high enough.
I mean there is a topic that celebrates 1 million copies sold, but ~10% of players at launch trying to login gets servers melted? FeelsBadMan indeed
it’s not a capacity issue, something actually broke. They’re working on it.
before 0.9 patch last epoch had no online built in whatsoever, so they had to create online part of the game from scratch, current issues with servers are more related to game still being in active development other than not enough server space.
Capacity is not an issue.
everyone should worry about PUBIC OPINION.
You routinely go out to eat and pay for a meal and just accept the meal to come out 4 hours later? I just expect to get what I paid for.
they are connected to tencent. not really a “small” company
Dude, those comparisions doesnt work) food is food, game is game, you are literally just spoiled impatient baby))
I’m one of the people waiting for online play, I’ll just wait until they fix it, sooner rather than later obviously. It’s launch day and there’s a huge influx of players. I’m not too concerned.
I’m not going to hate on the game, it looks great, and judging from sales it looks like many others feel the same. At the same time, I’m not going to defend these kind of launch issues as just the way things are. Why not stagger the launch times? If you sold over a million copies, then you should be prepared for these kinds of issues.
yea but you know, something they do great right now is keeping us updated on stuff. Thats something i miss in many other games.
You’re a bit of a dick, aincha?
No. I paid for a product and want to use that product as advertised. You have a right to be upset when you pay for a service and it does not meet your expectations. Settle, like you’re doing, and it continues to be the norm.
then just refund a game and stop whining, lol
I bought it a long time ago during early access and have played for almost 200 hours. I’m not wanting to refund the game. I just want to play it.
People yelling, “Just refund the game and stop whining” must be Saints in the food business.
I can see them waiting at their table for hours before their food arrives without getting even a little bit upset.
“It’s fine. I know I paid money for this, but I guess I don’t need it that much.”
You have a pre-purchase (Beta supporter) banner beneath your name.
You literally paid for a lesser version of what the current offline mode, your argument holds no water.
