Sometimes there are no chests in customary places in campaign is it new or bug?

Okay, glad I’m not the only one who noticed this. Also wondering if it’s an intentional change to how maps load or if it’s a bug, because if you find that one chest in a map is missing it means all of them in that map instance are missing.
