When using a controller the game will crash when the quest reward dialogue box pops up after completing a quest. I am able to work around it by swapping quickly to mouse and keyboard before the reward pop up appeared, click accept, then I’m able to go back to controller.
If I swap to controller at any time when the quest reward window is open, the game will consistently crash.
I believe I am getting the same thing as you. I play with controller. Whenever I try to fight the altar of flesh, or the other mini boss before him on the stability timeline, as soon as the boss is about to go down, I get the quest rewards box pops up, the game freezes for 3-4 seconds, and then crashes to my desktop. This has now happened about 4 times on my home PC. Top of the line AMD card, new PC. I also JUST now tried the altar of flesh boss fight on my gaming laptop with Nvidia, different internet, same exact thing. Makes we wonder if something to do with my account. I have had these crashes throughout the campaign, probably about 4-5 overall during the campaign.
