I wish there to build more cold focus build around Acolyte. I feel like there only being necro/posion/ignite builds are just way to limited. There’s cold supports for most of the abilities, so why are there a lack for cold items? Necromancers/Liches are chilly and cold, and they often use cold spells within fantasy books.
Adding to that, Acolyte also lack lots of Jewellery, specially around early game.
example: Kermode’s Cage unique armour is based on elemental (cold) damage. So nicely looking item but…
This rule closes this item in a such categories where Druid is directed to use this specyfic elemental damage. In my opinion this is a wrong direction when thinking about unique items for such a class.
What I wish to see about this item to be more unique like ? Give me stats that are desireable for ANY damage type of Primalist but only Druids or only Sprigganform can benefit from it.
Example of Kermode’s rework amour name: Lone hunter’s gaze
stats:
every second gain +(3-8) rage when in a combat (or when hit but NOT ON KILL because how this item is usable at a boss fight then ?)
1-2 (varies) to Druid physical skills or Spriggan form skills so in this case item becomes more UNIQUE for more classes and then those varies makes it even people want to farm more.
max life 5-40% (varies) when transformed
Again this mechanic that has a larger area of (varies) percentage of life pool that an item can get is better to farming it longer. Player can drop this item many times before he gets the maxximum stat he wants.
max strenght (1-5)%
OR
max attunement (1-5%)
the same rule about strenth when devs decide that this item should be specyfic only for Druids and attune when it comes for Spriggans.
The perfect unique item that can be even better with a little tuning:
Legacy of the quiet forest:
make the rage gained not only in Sprigganform but when in combat or when hit …
make there some additional varies between str and attune that an item can roll so one drop can make it perfect for a Spriggan while another drop will make it better for a Druid class and THIS mechanic will make whole uniques more wider usage with and - in this case - the wider potential of legendaries we can built aroun it
edit: I wanted to explain why there is a 5-40% of total life increased stat when transformed. The beastmaster class has a many companions with a tons of life to tank. The Sprigganform can use this relic that (when used witl elemental skil) gives him around 14k ward…And Druid as the only one is supposed to facetank with a 3-4 max life total ? Please… make the Druid have a chance to be a real beast
I’d like to see some Blizzard like skill where you can cast a shower of cold rain or something like the one in Diablo, for the mage of course. ANother idea is to convert lightning blast to fire, imagine some chaining fire beams.
I agree that Mage needs more love, thats why i voted for Mage aswell.
What about a Wand that increases the Range of Disintegrate by 25-50%, and size of the Beam by 100% (size will just be for looks/cosmetic thing) but the increase range would be really great so your not forged to take those passives that increase the range, well you could and make it even a bigger ranger tho if you want to.
and might awell add a defensive effect on top of this: While channeling Disintegrate, you greate a bubble around you that absorbs an x % amout of damage, the shield/bubble can break once it absorbed all its damage. This would help alot for the skill to make it more save to channel longer and deal damage for a longer time on bosses where you normall would have to move alot.
How about a death/curse themed 2 handed Scythe for the Acolyte class that switches elemental damage types as well as converts undead enemy types to fight for the Acolyte for 30 seconds if struck by it. Ruined era styling or possibly imperial era styling would be best. Perhaps a Scythe that extrudes from the open mouth of a skull at the end of the staff portion of the weapon.
I’d love to see the Acolyte get a good one-hander that buffs phys spells like Rip Blood and/or Marrow Shards. I like the idea of phys and bleed getting some love there since most options involve poison or necrotic to do dmg. It would help with diversity in the caster portion of the class.
