I have hope! The devs here really care about their playerbase so I hope they will fix it for us even if we aren’t that many.
Don’t lose hope @Ceeyaaaa!

hey @HybridLyte, we have narrowed it down to it being a connection issue between Egypt (atleast) and the LE game servers (the login server seems to let us in with no issues). I hope that’s enough info to maybe find a fix we really wanna play the new patch.
Hehe same friend same
If the issue is related to connection with Egypt, it have to be caused by the massive banning of thousands of sites.
They probably ban some universal services and a ton of IPs get banned unintentionally as a side effect. But yeah, if the cause is within Egypt, it will not get fixed, like not soon, not later … simply never.
I had to refund New World for similar reasons, there was no hope of successfuly connecting.
I could be mistaken but I think there was a similar issue that happened with league of legends a while back and Riot contacted someone (WE?) here and resolved the issue. It’s a long shot but I hope they try.
I hope so too, but as an indie studio I don’t believe they are up to the task specially with limited resources.
Contacting “WE” on official level shouldn’t be that hard, whether you are big company or small one. But to get a respond and a fix that’s the hard part.
There might be hope to force them to respond though, if you contact NTRA (National Telecom Regulatory Authority" … but these ones require going through a lot of steps with “WE” , and they allow “WE” very long time to respond. But at least they apply some pressure on them.
But first, they must collect enough data about the issue, and maybe draw a map of where the connection cut exactly. (POE would ask users to use some MTR command in windows to track the connection between your PC and server, highlighting every step (server) in the way, making an accurate diagnosis.
Similar to this:
Btw, here’s my log files after the crash, if that helps at all"
Player.log (67.4 KB)
Player-prev.log (326.1 KB)
and player log from crashes folder:
Player.log (67.4 KB)
And trying to use WinMTR on the server IP that failed to connect in the crash report (35.242.163.177), it give me perfectly fine connection: So now that’s weird … maybe there’s another IP I should ping with WinMTR

Working on passing all this info along to the team. All the additional info will be a major help.
My wife and I have the issue since launch of this multiplayer. This is ridiculous. Stuck in the same non-connecting/connecting loop.
Hello everyone,
I seem to be having the same issue
I am from Egypt as well.
I used warp VPN it worked for a while but it is causing the connection to be really slow and disconnecting.
Hopefully, you guys can be luckier than me and have a more stable connection with it.
and hopefully, there is a fix for this so we wouldn’t need to use a VPN to connect
If you could post your Player.Log files from here: C:\Users[USER]\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch
That’d be a great help.

I’ve found the issue after pinging the IPs mentioned in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/LastEpoch/comments/11t5vfr/an_update_on_what_we_are_working_on_and_a_thank/ with WinMTR, and they all seem to fail to connect somewhere, confirming my theory that game is blocked from Egypt.
According to the post, the IPs related to a “Loadbalancer” , which seem to be something working like a “Reverse-Proxy”… And since Egypt is trying to ban any VPN or Proxy, they probably got things mixed up and blocked these along the way.
So what I did is sending TE Data/WE an email on [email protected] copying this message:
"The ISP is blocking the IP addresses used by a game. These addresses work with other internet providers.
df4fe.playfabapi.com is a CNAME to master.playfabapi.com, which is a CNAME to master-mainserver-1943019976.eu-west-2.elb.amazonaws.com, which is a loadbalancer that has 8 IP addresses

44.237.141.7
44,240,143,149

please unblock these addresses."
I’d suggest trying to send them the same message, and hope for the best.

I did the same thing yesterday, and I tried to find a way to track the request number they sent by an automated reply after receiving my e-mail but I couldn’t, I hope this really works.
Hi there,
I’m sorry that we don’t have a solution here. Unfortunately I don’t think this problem applies in this situation: the players that needed to contact their ISPs about these addresses were unable to get past the Login / Play Online screen, whereas it appears that everyone in this thread is able to get to the character selection screen.
Also, if that was the problem, I would expect to see this in your Player.log: Curl error 28: Failed to connect to df4fe.playfabapi.com port 443 after 168405 ms: Timed out
. Since it isn’t there, you were able to successfully connect to this address.
Sometimes WinMTR (and similar tools) shows a “Connection Timed Out” because the various points in between you and the destination may de-prioritize or block Ping traffic, while allowing actual traffic through.
It is still possible that this could be an ISP issue, but it’s not related to this load balancer. We’re still investigating. Unfortunately it’s taking a while because our backend/server team is working to address a lot of different concerns right now.
