Yesterday, my computer completely crashed while I was playing. I’m almost sure it comes from the game because it never happened to me before but I can’t guarantee it.
This isn’t the most concerning issue, when I logged back in, my offline Warlock character was completely gone, multiple hours of play time lost.
On discord, multiple people told they have the same bug but nobody found a way to solve it.
How can we proceed to get the char back ?

I had the same issue with my offline Druid. System crash/Blue screen of death and it’s simply gone. I’ve restarted the game client/steam/my PC. no luck
Not my information but this worked for me -
“I had the thing happen to me. It crashed then my char wouldnt show up. I went to %AppData%\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch\Saves and found that my character file was still there, it was just filled with nulls. If you have your character file.bak i just copied the contents of that file to my null filled file and my character was restored. As to how to check whichone is your character file just check the CHARACTERSLOT_BETA_X.bak on a text editor and it should say characterName: YourCharacterName. Hope it works for you! Note: The CHARACTERSLOT_BETA_X_temp could also contain your character”
Unfortunately, I only have my new character there. Maybe this works only if you don’t play with saves anymore.
Midcoin - This did the trick for me. I decided not to roll a new character in offline due to fear I would overwrite my missing character. You’re amazing. thank you!
