Currently progress isn’t saving for quests and I am unable to interact with quest specific objects/characters. I’m in chapter 7 trying to retrieve the blessed horn for The temple of Heorot
And The wrath of the Wengari quests. Originally I was unable to speak to a NPC in the area before collecting the horn, but the quest log seemed to proceed, but now I can’t pick up the horn itself.
I am able to do one of the side quests in the area (freeing the captives) but on area reload the progress resets.
All gear collected is saved though through the run.
If I try to portal out near the horn I get D/C’d.
I have restarted the client and verified files but no change.
System info:
Steam deck
Native Linux client (not using proton)
With the Vulcan launch option
My girlfriend has the same issue. she is stuck with delivering the rahyeh’s warpath quest due to encountering an infinite completion loop where the quest will stay in her list and can’t be delivered to yulia.
I went back and did some skipped side quests and was able to complete them, but still unable to complete any quests in the mentioned areas. This is an odd one
I agree. There are some players as well who encounter this kind of issue in the starting areas like act 1 to 4. Been trying to make the devs aware of this issue but still no answer or feedback.
I really hope that they can fix this issue or my girlfriend’s character (or other players in that matter) will stay in the void until it’s fixed.
Had the same issue with tablet quest and horn. Are you playing with a controller? I logged in on my other computer/desktop and went with mouse and keyboard and got both parts. There is a dialog box that pops up… not sure why controller wouldn’t do it.
I have been playing with an xbox controller on PC steam. This is 100% a controller issue where it does not allow you to pickup the items for the quest. Switched to Mouse and Keyboard and the dialog box came up on all of the stuck quest items.
