Hi,
I started playing several days ago and had zero issues until today. Around 3:30PM CST I had a system crash while in game, and when I went to go back in none of my characters will join the offline world though the Enter World button is functional. I ran the repair Steam files from my library with no success.
I noticed a game file download happened. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and created a new character to test. That character was able to progress past the button, but the game just spun and wouldn’t allow entrance. When I reopened the game, the new character had the same issue as the existing ones. Hi,
Your log file suggests that the STASH_0 file has been corrupted. To confirm that open the file with notepad and check content. It should have JSON values ( { } ). If there are NULL NULL values, the file is corrupted.

Hi Mieu, and thank you so much for your prompt response. I performed the steps above with no success, so I uninstalled and reinstalled but this time I first deleted the appdata folder and the steam folder for the game. I ran the verification of file integrity, and it showed one file missing so it downloaded it. Then I got no message and it downloaded another small file immediately afterwards. Tried to play, and had the same issues.
I deleted all characters, opened up the game, closed it. Turned off steamsync, then deleted the folders in appdata and steam again that were generated or copied from the steamsync. Uninstalled and reinstalled again.
This time I did NOT run verification of file integrity, and steam didn’t download any files. I created a character and had no issues getting in. Left the game, and was able to get back in.
Right now I’m wondering if something bad in my prior steam saves was overwriting the fresh install. (?) The game appears to be functional now without verifying file integrity, so I’ll leave it be.
I’m not sure if you are a developer or a support person for the studio, but I wanted to say this game has really grabbed my attention like no other game since Grim Dawn. I appreciate all the hard work that has been done so far by the team and I can’t wait to see the finished product.
