Cannot enter new towns specifically - Immediate "Lost Connection"

I’m still working through the campaign and discovering new locations.

This happened to me yesterday when I was trying to enter The Oracle’s Abode. I couldn’t zone into the town.

This is different from first week connection problems. This is immediate disconnect upon trying to enter a town. I click to enter the zone, I see the loading screen for 1 second, and I get “Lost Connection” - Every time.

Today I’m trying to enter Yulia’s Refuge. The same EXACT thing is happening as when I was trying to enter Oracle’s Abode. Lost Connection. And it’s really annoying because every time I try again, I have to run through the mobs of an entire zone to get to it, just to be DCd, because I have never been to the town before and haven’t unlocked the waypoint.

I’m having the same issue loading into zones where most of the time I lose connection

This is happening to me as well, I am on Linux playing on Proton Experimental.

UPDATE: I was actually on linux native, switched to Proton 8.0 and it is working now.
Lost offline saves but not a huge deal.
