Can You Return To Dungeon Boss Rooms After Successful Completion?

Title.
I’ve been grinding monos and saved up almost a whole page of prophecies and now I have 20+ uniques with LP and so many exalted item with T7 mods.

I know there is a stash chest in the dungeon but I forget what happens if we leave the arena area and try to go back?
Really don’t want to lose all the favour I’ve been grinding.
Thx.

I can’t be totally sure, but I’m fairly sure you can walk back and forth. You don’t have loading screens while moving and I think the way back is still open.

Just to be sure, grab your most important items first anyway, just in case. Or ask someone to go there in a party with you so you can teleport back if it fails.

Nope, unfortunately not. Door is sealed with walled off area  :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Went back and tried it on T2 version without going to the gamble/stash section to see if my TP worked and this doesn’t give you a portal back to the boss floor. Sends you to town on a 1-way trip.

My 1st attempt after the gamble was done I tried the timeline rift portal but that was 1-way as well.

Hopefully they change this somehow to either include a stash in the boss room (might visually look awkward and distracting) or just leave the exit open.
You’re right there is no loading screen at least.

And before someone says “well don’t buy too many prophecies at once, just go back and forth” - I like to focus and play one aspect of the game at a time and even if I enjoyed spamming different content back and forth, it’s not like keys are unlimited.
2-3 weapon or large inventory cell prophecies can quickly fill your inventory.

A stash there would be the better option, since you wouldn’t have to walk back and forth, but the easiest solution is likely just not closing the exit.

That wouldn’t be a good argument. CoF is a number’s game. You’re supposed to make a lot of prophecies for drops to be worth it. So the game systems should accomodate for that.

It sucks that you lost the excess drops. Maybe you should have gotten someone to party with you, so you could teleport to them. Although maybe that wouldn’t work either because you’d be trying to teleport to a boss room?

I wasn’t sure what to comment about this earlier but I was thinking of that. I don’t have friends that play LE and didn’t want to sit around and try to ask random people in chat to test with me.

I’ve a feeling it wouldn’t work but I will keep in mind for next time.
Either way, having to find someone to party with each time you want to collect multiple prophecies would further illustrate the oversight in the CoF-boss room design.

Oh yes, I didn’t mean that should be the solution. Just that it could be a failsafe for you in the situation you were in.

An alternative solution (one that I have suggested before on an different topic) is to not have the prophecies trigger immediately and drop right away.
Instead, your prophecy would turn green in the prophecies list and you could collect them when you wanted to.
That way you could fulfill the prophecies, go back to your stash at your leisure and then trigger the drops when you want.

That’s also a great idea actually.
Not sure how easy or difficult it is coding-wise for the devs but I like it.
