Title. I bought a new account because I wanted a “fresh start” (without going SSF because I want my stash shared between characters). But everytime I log in to it (on either the steam client or the standalone), it says “Welcome Greyy” (my new account) but then I have access to all my characters from the other account.

Side Note: You could have just removed all the savegames & stash files form your local machine to start on your old account in a fresh start without having to buy a new account.
But you have already got another account… So… The reason you are seeing your old characters etc is probably because the game has offline only saves right now… i.e. the place that the game saves the files is the same - doesnt matter what EHG account you login with - the game will just load whatever is in the saves folder… Its not linked to the account specifically in single player mode…
The only way I can see it working right now is one of two ways:
to create a separate Windows User login on your system so that the savegames are in a separate User folder on your machine… (Probably the same for Linux user level although I am not sure where the game saves to on Linux)
Manually swap out the savegames folder if you want to play on the alternative set of characters… (no point in having two accounts in this instance).
Obviously the game doesnt support multi accounts from a single system - not sure if it will ever support this in the single player/offline mode…
Once MP is launched and you can use online saves, then they will be linked to each separate account and you will see separate characters/stash… and you will likely have to use the standalone launcher for this as I am not sure how Steam would handle multiple linked accounts - if it even could.
Yea, I thought about doing this but I didn’t want to “lose everything” from that account in case I wanted to go back and play on it again.
