Well I don’t mean there’s no problems in LE (and Bastion issue being one of them). What I see from these videos there are issues with some of the items / skill nodes. Actually it is easily fixable with patches. I don’t see any global flaw in LE here.
And u can see in the comments under the Lizard video "Devs reached out after the video, we had a nice chat about the entire topic.
They are aware of the problem and want gear to have more impact. " so I’m sure the devs will do the balancing as soon as they’ve done with MP testing
At least 2 characters out of 5 can do 400++ corruption naked.
I believe that there may be 4 out of 5, if you find examples for 2 other classes.

As Lizard said, if you don’t see this as a problem, I have nothing to tell you.
it is a bit of exaggeration. You can’t do any mono 400+ with any mods / and what about bosses etc. You can survive if you lucky but then you will die a lot to another set of mods / monsters.
In your video you almost died several times @lvl90 mono so how can you survive 400 corruption mono? If you are talking Bastion then as I already said that another issue.
Who said I don’t see a problem? I see it but it about those specific skill tree nodes / items. It is not a global issue. Take Shaman naked to 400 corruption boss. Give me the video then I 'd say yes there’s a GLOBAL problem.

Well the gear problem is how gear/blessings/idols/passives/skill perks all add up to each other to form your character. If you remove most of your gear, you still have all the other parts to make up for it.
In many other games the gear is in many places is multiplicative to the other parts of the character progression elements.
In last epoch is mostly additive. For every stat or damage characteristic, you could get parts of it in any of the other progession elements.
Bladedancer for example for phys melee damage gets 39 points from passives + class spec, that is more than a katana (38), a endgame base sword. These are added together for damage. Then most skills have their own added damage, with spells, is even more reliant of the spell base damage.
The only true full scalers are the more multipliers, found in abundance and high magnitudes on skill perks, so that huge part of your scaling is free, you only need to get your level ups to obtain that power.
