Hello, i quit this game 6months ago because there was no autopickup shards so i just wanna know if its still the same or different… THX BOYZZZ
Hey there,
no there is still no auto pickup.
But there were two changes that will still be very interesting to you.
The vaccum pickup radius has been increased by 25%
Crafting materials (runes glyphs & shards) drop less frequently, but if they do drop they drop in bigger chunks.
Also no singular drops happen at all past area level 12 zones.
thanks bro, see ya after another 6 months hf
For the devs to change something they need feedback.
You did gave some feedback patches ago, which is great.
Now the devs did some changes that directly impact a portion of the game you critized.
I highly suggest giving the changes a try and give another round of feedback.
I highly doubt that not playing the game at all or quitting because of that one thing is something the devs will take into consideration the same level compared to some more well thought out feedback, because its very likely that you don’t like the game overall enough to stick to the game, even if they would do this change.
Bro, i love this game like for real but clicking those shards(i mean its literally killing me inside) ± every kill its just really really big no for me… i was literally mad each time i have to click on the ground… if i spend more time colecting all the drops than farm im off…
Again there is a lot less clicking than previously because of the beforementioned changes.
And as @SolidMetalKnight pointed out, you really don’t need to pick up everything.
You could focus only on the rare pure shard drops and make your loot filter specifically strict for your taste.
No the loot filter doesn’t apply to shards.
But if he only wants to focus on rare raw shard drops he wants to have a source for shards that are useful for him, so he needs to setup the loot filter properly to have items to shatter
I do think the intention is, that we should loot all shards.
Not everybody does it or wants to do it though
This is quite the disconnect. But, I’ll try and save you some time. If you don’t give feedback there’s no use in coming back in six months. While there are people who continue to ask for shard auto-pick up, there are also plenty of people who think it’s fine. The Devs have stated repeatedly that they do not intend to make shards auto-pickup but they have also said their minds may change in the future. AND based on ‘feedback’ they, as already stated, increased the radius and lessoned the scatter. That change only happens with enough feedback.
Try out the new stuff @Heavy and @SolidMetalKnight suggested. Spend a few hours. Drop some feedback. Then your visit back in six months might bear fruit. Otherwise, you’re just doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Madness
Isnt that his point? he is leaving feedback because he has a set expectation that he is waiting for. Wouldnt it be doing the same thing when he knows until shards are auto pick up he wont be happy?
I dunno this advice is basically “Well the thing you dont like got a 1% change towards better, dont you wanna go play a few hours in a game you rated 10%, because now its an 11%?”
its like “okay you can have a piece of candy, your grade went from an F, to an F with higher percent!”
At this point however, id just suggest giving up. The feedback gets given every like 1-3 weeks, and their stance has not changed. if it has not changed under thousands of comments/hundreds of threads over years of devolopment, its best to just admit the game wont be enjoyable for you, and cut your losses.
I still giggle when people say “they changed it a little to make it better”. I haven’t noticed a any difference in shard drops, picking them up or anything else to do with them. They still drop like candy, I still only see 1 or 2 class-only per map (usually not even for the class I’m playing), and I still pick them up because I’m short on things like hybrid health and some of the newer ones. Solely relying on shatters for them is as silly as solely relying on raw shard drops.
Maybe but you missed my point as well. The devs have made changes to this, whether you think it’s enough or not really isn’t relevant to my point. I frankly couldn’t care less if he does of doesn’t. But they’ve MADE these changes based on feedback they receive. If you want to see more changes not experiencing the changes they’ve made and not leaving feedback is not going to get anything changed.
And I’ve noticed it’s improved. I walk around the screen a lot less now because the clumps are much closer together. And I have to click a lot less often.
OP likes a auto shard pickup and isn’t playing the game untill there is one (or mostly untill release I guess ^^). It’s a fair thing to say and we know this from all the past posts and discussions about auto pickup of shards. I don’t think we have to beat that dead horse again or do we?
Yeah, if you’re going to have that kinda of negative reaction about a game (potential hyperbole aside), you probably shouldn’t play it, life is too short. Personally I have the opposite reaction, I feel sad if I don’t pick them (& all the gold) up…
He just has in the original post…
It’s almost like the entire thing is subjective perception. However, only mine is the correct one…
(note: mine is italicized because it’s the point of view of whomever is reading it at the time)
“I’ll pop in every few months to complain that you still haven’t done the thing I want” only barely counts as feedback.
"Hello, i quit this game 6months ago because there was no autopickup shards so i just wanna know if its still the same or different… "
Looks like he asked a question. How did you get ‘complaining’ out of that?
Because he’s creative and likes to understand things like he wants to understand them? Just wait for Llama and his goose and ganter sauce or whatever. For him it’s maybe complaining to me it’s someone checks in if the game changed in a positive way or not. To me the whole thing is pretty obvious .
