What are we expecting this time around?
There’s a lot more riding on this patch then before with the race to level 100. If it doesn’t go right this race will be unfair.
Also I can’t believe there is no pre download. With the race that gives some people a massive advantage with download speeds.

There should always be predownloads especially when there are actually leaderboards or prizes for world first.
Really just shows how naive this company is.
I fully expect it to take 24-48 hours before servers are stable which is around the time 80% of returning players give up. 1.0 launch folks were at least open to giving EHG the benefit of the doubt, however this time I do not think folks will be so forgiving.

Its not possible to sychronize update for every user, for everyone i think its gonna take usually a hour for update
Another reason why they should do predownloads. Really goes to show how unprepared they are. Just like they were for launch.
COME on Eleventh hour games we need you to be the great successor to D2LOD and the game we hoped D4 was going to be. You had a terrible launch last ladder cycle and we need it to go right this time. We believe in Eleventh Hour Games to the dev team we need to make the next great ARPG and true success to D2LOD since D2r isnt getting any love.
You do realize this is on their end and if they did predownloads the exact same thing would happen?
And it’s not like you don’t need to download a patch at launch with PoE either. You usually just have a smaller one.
Looks like they’re going more in Blizzard’s footsteps than following what GGG is doing xd
