2nd monitor constantly turning off and on

I have a laptop with 2 additional monitors all connected to a hub, and for some reason my 2nd monitor (not laptop), will turn off and on constantly when I have the game running.

I tried running in windowed/windowed full/fullscreen and it didnt seem to matter.

It’s honestly driving me nuts.

I tried several other games just to make sure it wasnt something with my computer, and all my other games run just fine.

Just did some further testing and it seems like its tied to the resolution of the game.

I left the game in windowed mode just for the ease of changing resolutions (but I did test in fullscreen and its the same), and it seems like the threshold for my 2nd monitor to start going crazy and turning off and on is 1600x1200.

As soon as I go under that to 1600x1024 it seems to stop, scratch that cause it just happened again, but its way less frequent. The next lower 1440x900 I havent seen it happen yet.

But as soon as I go up to 1600x1200 or above, it happens right away and stays constantly going on and off.

My main monitor is an LG ultrawide 3440x1440 native, and my 2nd monitor is an LG 1080x1920 native.

I’ve tried a lot of other games and none of them cause this issue, it’s only with Last Epoch.

Like even when I exit the game in windowed mode, both my main monitor and 2nd monitor turn off then on a couple times, it feels pretty janky.

Other games will just load up or close with no need for my monitors to turn off and on.

So I may have found a temporary fix kinda.

I tried turning on Streamer Mode, even though I don’t stream. And that seemed to stop my 2nd monitor from going on and off like crazy. I turned Streamer Mode off and it stayed the same.

Until I clicked on another window/monitor. If my main monitor/game isnt in focus, my 2nd monitor will start turning on and off again constantly, but at least now when I have the game focused it seems to have stopped.

Also every time I make a change in the graphics settings my 2nd monitor turns off and on, really bizarre.

So ya try turning Streamer Mode on/off if you’re having a similar issue and see if that helps.

While stuck in the 0 Q I tried reinstalling the game, and Streamer Mode was not the only thing that helped, I also had to set the graphics to Very Low.

I’m not sure what exactly the setting is causing the issue, but im kind of over it now.

Every time I start the game with Streamer Mode and Very Low my monitor will spaz for a little bit, but it eventually will stop.
