2 character deleted after i pressed leave game

i tried to check on the forums for any answer but its getting annoying after 2 playthrough 2 character gone xD

Did your game crash? If it crashes it can corrupt the save games…

Are you using Steam Cloud Saves - this can also cause a problem as they update when the game closes automatically and if there is a problem it could be copying the corrupted files each time.

Please can you also post your system info and logs (see https://support.lastepoch.com/category/35-useful-files)

yes my game crashed and im using steam clouyd saves. my character files are now 0 Kb so i guess its dead. would u suggest to turn off the cloud saves? ty for your answer

Yes… I would suggest disabling Steam Cloud saves…

Backup the saves folder first… Then disable could saves… Delete the save folder and re-enable cloud saves… and see what it does… if it copies the dead savegames back then thats probably what is happening and this is potentially overwriting your new saves…

I dont use Steam Overlay or Cloud saves as I have found they always cause problems with games… Just my experience… I manually make backups of all my games save anyway so disabling it doesnt bother me…

If you are getting lots of crashes, then please upload your system details so that we can try and help with that.,

nah the dead saves just disappeared

Ok… If you now create a new char in LE… does it stay or does it also disappear?

Ok… Looks like something went wrong when the game crashed and messed up your files.

For now, I suggest you make manual backups of your saves before you start playing…

Let us know if you need help with the crashing… There are some things to try and make the game more stable…
