Exactly my point too, I am just disappointed. Still waiting for them to make up for it.
So many people that refuse to embrace exceptionalism and cling to the mediocrity of âexpectedâ failure. Sure you love the gaming industry, you have great ideas - but those donât insure a successful future. Fun games turn out to be great games when all the pieces have high level expectations and goals set for them.
Clearly that is not the case with Last Epoch.
Itâs a pity so many of you cling to the lowest common expectation as if its inevitable. You are the ones that have created the lowest common expectation by your lack of exceptionalism. Set the bar low and you get mediocrity, set it high and find greatness.
most complainers here would probably still complain if the release went without a hitch, because it would be boring and they would have nothing to complain about
What else am i supposed to do in 2-3 min loading screens than feed on the tears of virgins?
So you are comparing a car company where you had an issue, they gave you ANOTHER perfectly working car until your car was fixed and you are happy.
Too
A game in beta for 5 years, didnt work online for 20 hours, when it comes back online its filled with bugs and issues (as I type this I am "traveling to keepers camp for 45+ seconds now lol) and we are still here without a fully working game, if you get in online itâs invested with stuff that doesnt work still. So how are you comparing it to your car situation, unless BMW told you âits ok we are working on your car remotely, for the time being just sit inside it and pretend like it works, we will let you know when it might be working againâ
or set the bar (too) high and it completely burns out before it is even achievable. This isnt a multibillion dollar company, and their first large launch. Set your expectations accordingly. It is you who disappoints yourself otherwise.
Hypocrisy at its peak.
at least do some research, regional prices exist, so itâs not nearly 34$ per person, also count expenses on hardware and accumulation and lots of different stuff. Try better.
Thatâs true, but itâs also important to realize that we all made the decision to buy it even though we knew the developers didnât have much experience. Now we have to wait and maybe we can play a bit and then wait again, or you are under 2h and can get a refund.
I bought the game even though I knew how risky it was. Now I live with the consequences, and one of them is that the servers, or whatever the problem is, are not working well.
Yep, agree here. In the same camp.
didnât know someone needs to make 80-100$ a day to have a privilege to be able play a game
Terrible controller support is indicative of a great game built for PCâs. I would take your insult as a complement because PC gamers do not lower themselves to using controllers.
The conditions of the launch are adequate to state that the bar was not set to high. This is also a clue to to the level of competence (or goal setting) that was placed on all aspects of the game. Five years of development should have also included (phased with milestones) development of all the essential elements of the game, including networking , and scaling.
The game you stan fors CEO plays on controller sir, and its 2024 MANY pc games have perfectly fine controller support. I know someone with your elite expertise knows this already though.
I imagine your logic is like this on everything right? In the market for a can, at coffee shop for a coffee, for shoes for anything. If not then youâre just pretending ( and we are the bad guys with no humanity)
I do not see any improvment after the fix, the servers are still so slowâŚ
hes not wrong though. their controller support is pretty subpar compared to games on the market today. D4 probably has the best controller support for a game.
i just meant youre hyperbolizing to the point they need to not sleep, eat, sh*t for 24 hours straight just that you can play a hecking game, why trashtalking devs?
canât leave this struggle city cool fixes.
Will the porting be fast soon?
