Guys, this isn’t Day 1, so don’t use that as an excuse. The real issue is that companies scale down their server capacity to what they think will be enough, but it never is. So, they are probably on the phone with Tencent saying 'hey, can you get us some more servers?"
lol, the multiplayer test were about 40k and not 150k
and they arent paid millions, what is wrong with you? dude this community gets worse and worse… the hype isnt always that good
Is there any way to migrate offline characters to online mode or vice versa?
They did tho.
Im experiencing the LE-61 Failed to Matchmake error message right before entering The Keepers’ Camp
No. Unless something changed with Patch 1.0.
Can they know that there will be a million players at launch? Sure. Can they 100% accurately simulate what that traffic does to their server infrastructure? Nope. This is to be expected with most Live Service titles. People need to touch grass and chill out, EHG will have it working as soon as they can.
Stop being an entitled brat. Congratulate this small company on it’s success and know that YOU TO will be able to play online soon…
Thats wrong. Yes they knew the player database 2 weeks ago, but lately the game has got tons of publisity from popular streamers. This has resulted in way more players and not enough time to get more servers.
This is my bet atleast.
How many beautiful women are in the backyard and harem? Can we change people to enter
I want to play… I want in
When I try and hit enter to play, it says online play unavailable.
no, that would be crazy bad for any integrity of the game, as in offline play you can just edit the files of your character to give yourself level 100, bis gear.
yes, they aboslutely can.
Let us login guys
You think there would be just one company that would get a launch done smoothly. I’m happy they are having “growing pains” but seriously they should have been more prepared for this launch. Years of anticipation for this release only met with a message “You can’t play, so sorry” we’ll fix it when we fix it.
At least we don’t have a queue ^^
As a developer and player, I know better that you should always make more servers available on launch day and have extra load balancers in place. I’ve seen this happen many times where launch day fails due to excessive load. They’re trying to save on costs and just pay as needed on the go with AWS but it’s not a great idea for such a massive launch. I already knew this would happen.
To solve this, request extra servers ahead of time. If you tested for 40k before, expect 10x+ at launch etc. A lost player is lost profit potential that surpasses your server cost.
You seem to miss my point completely - that people are complaining about problems the team has already communicated they’re working on. I can tell you’re just looking for stuff to be mad about lol
