A developer that insists on only working 9 to 5 and doesn’t care for the product or the customers paying for said product who are not getting the correct service does not deserve to hold that job. They probably don’t even deserve to work at McDonalds for that matter if that’s how low their level of commitment is. Any company that doesn’t invest in their employees to incentivize them TO CARE and ELEVATE their level of care for the product, likewise deserves to fail.

There should be a filter to easily exclude reviews made in the first week of launch. It’s clear that bad reviews come from servers disaster only and have nothing to do with the game being good or bad per se.
I’m sad for EHG, the game per se doesn’t deserve those reviews, but the servers failure has been really hard.
Trust me as a dev, there is no obligation to work evenings or the weekend…

This isnt some hackathon, leetcode work and fix something in 24 hours.
I understand your view but after 5 years of pumping 12-14 hours per day to “learn” it becomes a job, and nothing more.
The passion slowly dries and becomes an inevitable 9-5.
Just watch when their next update is on this forum, I bet you £100 that it will be between 8:30am - 9:15am CT time
I’m not sure why you keep saying this. They updated us throughout the weekend, including the latest one which was posted Sunday (yesterday) afternoon.
They worked over the weekend.

The updates on discord are exactly the same updates that were posted in this forum post, but have coincidently been removed.
They’re pinned at the top of this thread.
They should have shut off posts for this one so that the only thing in it was the updates.
I am not sure what you mean. Which were removed? The last update was 2:54 PM from a few days ago, Saturday I think. And yet someone above says “They were in Discord all weekend” presumably this means that they’re giving much more frequent updates in Discord.

Ah but you see, some do, the pigeons that flock to the forums constantly, when things literally don’t go their way, who were bombarding steam reviews with tears, those were the ones I referring too, my man.
I can be smug, as you all can cry. I wish I was getting paid, but sadly I’m not defending the game,.only putting the crybabies in place where they belong. Maybe they will make me an unofficial forum mod, since I’m not afraid to say what many others are thinking with the constant crying.
Also good for Eu for sleeping, I’m sure they had to refill their water supply for such bucket filled tears.

Harsh times? Interesting reply with that. Is this the end all be all for those whiners? You all don’t have actual problems to worry about other than a video game that you can still play cause the option of offline is there. Now before you say" but but why would I take merchants guild, I can’t use my cosmetics" and so on, You don’t need those, merchants isn’t even that great compared to circle of fortune so you could def play offline while they work to fix the problem and stop crying. Or not play at all and wait, but people choose to come here and cry like that is going to make haste with fixing problems with connection/login/zoning. It’s not, it’s not magically going to get things fixed instantly.
“But it’s the moral of blah blah blah” yes okay, cool. And it’s morally wrong to constantly bash a small time studio with their first game over and over again, if you want to play that card. See it goes both ways.
Tldr: everyone needs to shut up, either play/attempt online, play offline Wich would be your best bet to play the game if you are that hungry for worms. or go do something more productive.

At this point, the people who couldn’t handle the state of the game in release week and just wanted to rant and foam at the mouth, I believe are gone. They gave up. They put in their bad review and flamed on the forums. They’re gone.
The rest are taking it for what it is. There was some time on Saturday and Sunday where I DID have issues logging and playing. I went and did something else for a bit. I have managed to get my character to end game in online only, and I only play about 2 hours a day after work, and by no means am I fast at moving through the game. I am a bit OCD and need to explore nearly each entire map going through it, it makes for slow going. (I get blown away when I hear people say they played for 5 hours and hit level 70…) So if you wanted to, you could be an online player and have made it to endgame by now, even with the spotty access to the game. It’s been up enough that people have been able to play.

so at 18:00 got in a queue of 4200. how long will this take? any geustimates?
i geuss i answer my own question. the good news is only 15 minutes to log in with a queue of 4200. i feel for the people that try to log in after dinner in europe. but better a queue than a unplayable game

What happenes if the mono charsh like it does? Like u get the message u lost connection from server. U go back in queue?
