sadly that’s not how leasing servers works. You CAN work with 3p services to get new servers online ASAP, but usually its yearly contracts with major cash drop up front to do so, and then you’re subject to their capacity issues.
Worked with a company who leased 4 servers (400k cap for release) and the servers were blowing up at 100k concurrent logins because the switch prior couldn’t process the attempts fast enough and just started packet tossing, as the information did make it through, it was a scrambled mess of packets pinging the servers, essentially causing them to freak out. Those who did get through without loss we’re stuck at blank screen waiting because the servers were trying to figure out what to do with the other mess. Took almost 24 hours of being absolutely crippled, watching people go full meltdown for us to get the server company on board and admit it was their fault, but per contract we couldn’t publicly call them out, so we looked inept, so even if they did rent over capacity, there’s a lot of electronics between the PC and servers that could cause this that no amount of testing could ever fix.
At least they were smart enough to deploy an offline client. It sucks, but this is what the industry has become.
Brother, the people you’re watching play right now are actively playing offline mode. There’s no real end-game “getting ahead” even if they were able to stay in one zone indefinately. Lmao

For someone who has played the game this might be an decision that can be made. I have played just over 100h and I don’t know if I’m gonna do grouping or trading. Maybe a little? I don’t know what the new content is. So I would like to have the option for this - and thus I can’t play offline. Unless I wanna throw away my time and reset when this game gets to the point where it should have been.
This is why there needs to be staggered launch times. depending on time zones. Knowing that a stable launch is later in the day it much better than having connection issues throughout the day.
