Your predictions to patch notes

I’m curious if anyone has ideas about changes (or non changes) that could surprise part of the community.
Maybe something amusing, maybe something that will get everyone off guard…

I have two suppositions, they are contradictory, but in my mind I imagine two scenarios that could happen.

One of them is that many of the existing skills, or interactions and mechanics of skills, that are seen as OP Right now, and are often talked to be nerfed, wont be modified (considering the non bugged ones).

The second scenario would be massive changes in the game in general that will affect most of the current endgame skills or the ones that are more used and make everyone rethink their builds. Something that will take legacy players with established builds out of their confort zone.

When we launch the game, it will take us to Season 1 of D4.

I really hope the devs will know better than to do such a thing. I hope they’ll buff what needs to be buffed (within reason, not by 900%, cough cough), without indulging in a wanton overhaul just because. If it works, don’t fix it.

My prediction is that they will be longer than 0.9 patch notes

That’s what I would like as well, buffing unused skills and mechanics, so that they can become more relevant and we have more options.

Let most of the good/powerful skills in their current state, trying to adjust the ones that are already working could bring a mess and some unnecessary displeasure.
But I’m worried because I have seen talks everywhere about the nerfs players are expecting to some powerful mechanics we have right now.
I think the adjustment should be focused in buggy interactions ( elemental penetration from runes, exploding zombies, flurry det Arrow speed). These ones are really broken due to unintended mechanics.
We have some other mechanics that are really powerful but not necessarily broken.

I think this scenario is kinda unlikely since I really doubt they would mess with some major base scaling that will affect a lot of builds (like criticals or frailty or armor for example).

Maximum we would get some new enemy/enemy attacks causing more focus on some defensive mechanic like stun avoidance. (Eg: Act 9’s new enemies caused poison res to become more important).

I predict that bees will be deleted from the game.

“[…] and then to compensate buff all enemies/encounters to prevent overperforming skills/builds from trivialising the entire game and taking away from the devs’ vision for it.”
Same result as reducing power level of the aforementioned skills/builds - plus some power creep - but way more work for the devs.

Sounds of a horsecart…

Nah I’m fine the way it is, about enemy power and some current skills (the non-bugged ones). Game should focus bringing more challenges and content rather than making the ones much more difficult.

They’ve finally finished rewriting the game as a driving/drifting game. They did warn us in that leaked video some years ago.

Here’s the video if anyone was curious.

I want this game mode badly.

This is the game mode you unlock when you solve the floating flower puzzle.

I thought that was the Super Epoch Bros. SNES edition mode. I’m so confused now.

You’re both wrong. It was in the Path of Last Epoch Resurrected: Need for World of Forza’s Gate. You unlocked it by buying the subscription, then you defeated the conquerors that granted you access to Uber Tristram where you had to steal their car and then drift around smashing pedestrians. You can clearly see all that in the video.
