You Owe Us Favor!

God, what a tragedy this prophecy system is. I spend more favor rerolling than using on prophecies. No one wants that dumb a** 1LP item for 17k, let alone the choice of 7 of them in one roll. Using 3 lens, having 300% additional chance, I still have to roll past pages that lack any of that item. Than, when I finally get a prophecy for a reasonable price, its bugged and changes rarity… Curious if the goal is to make the experience so bad, we start asking for microtransactions.

They haven’t been able to make a reasonably bug-free game in recent years and they never will. They would need many months just to fix the existing bugs and balancing problems. and then seasonal mechanics will be added.
$35 was also just the right price. The game isn’t worth more than that. Players who like ARPG games only have POE and hope for POE 2.
There is no competition, not even close.

No game will be released at this perfected standards you’re expecting, maybe in a near future with some AI tools and even then. People seems to forget that PoE was released 12 years ago and was also a mess in its early stages and even had a lot of issues and bugs way after its release, still does. Like you said 35$ is the right price, you get more bang for your buck.

welp that’s unlucky, hopefully you made a bug report about this issue. My experience so far with the game (Also playing CoF) have been great no issues at all, of course leaving launch week aside.

The thing is that most gamers became too tolerant on these kind of things and are like “Oh I payed 70 euros for a game that has a shit tons of bugs and barely any content but no game is perfect!” yes not anymore because you accept it and tolerate these kind of idiotic things. At least LE was fair with its price and are communicating a lot/understanding many of their own players requests/needs they will indeed need time to fix/do all these things but at the end of the day games should not be released in such a state anyway. Its like you buy a brand new car with 2 wheels missing the steering wheel doesnt turn and the roof is cut in the middle and you go “Its fine it will get fixed eventually”. Makes no sense to accept it.

Well, this has became the new global standard. (Most) people are so used to products and services being disfuctional that it loops back on itself and products and services are becoming more and more disfuntional, as these people are getting more and more used to it. Additionally, this has a snowball effect.
Enjoy your products and services while you can. Things will get much, MUCH worse. You don’t want to see the state of games in 2030. THAT will be a s*it show…
And if only it was just video games. This is happening across the board.
