Wraiithlord consumes my friends minions and gets stuck

Hi there, when i summon my wraithlord it automatically tries to consume my friends minions and is stuck in consuming animation making wraithlord completely immobile and unplayable (tried it with a friend that is playing squirel build and and shaman build. havent tried other peoples build but it will most likely be same scenario

Sounds like a Bug Reports issue as I don’t think this is intended.

Yup, I agree as well but for me its the opposite, the wraithlord summons minions but they dont do anything. I tried forcing enemies to hit the minions, but they are hard stuck and do not move at all. This happens a lot when transitioning from one instance to another. Example: On Lagos after killing the tentacles at 50% boss hp, and going back to boss for second half of the fight, the minions are hard stuck and dont do anything.

In your case, you are most likely running the node in Wraith skill tree that is making wraiths stay in one place. Since the default Summon wraith skill summons a melee wraith they cant move towards the mobs to hit them. You have 2 solutions, either make wraiths mobile by removing the node (you will loose some damage) or get 2 (4 slot) idols wich has a chance summoning a flame wraith instead and he is actually ranged caster, he will be hitting mobs :wink: What i am doing to maximise efficiency if im mono farming i remove the node so that wraithlord will travel with me and attack mobs more fluently since this build is squishy, and if im facing a monolith boss or dungeon boss i switch the “immobile node” again to maximise dps. Feel free to ask about this build im enjoy playing it at the moment

I already had 2 summon wraith lord idols on me: 1 with mark for death and other with +crit/minion crit chance ever since I switched to wraith lord build and not removed them since then. I will check with removing the Locus of death talent to make the wraiths follow me, but yea the wraith lord does summon the flame wraiths for me and highest I have seen is 14 flame wraiths(aberrant call + wraithlord’s harbour + 1 summon on chest) at once I think and I believe it can go even higher. The build is fun to play as those flame wraiths are mini turrets just melting everything :sunglasses:
Only thing is it gets stuck at times when switching instances as I mentioned above. Also, thanks for the suggestion to rebind the key as it got rid of the stuck wraiths and respawn them properly and I have been doing that ever since, whenever they get stuck until it is resolved.
It seems to be a known bug I believe as others are facing the same. Check this forum link where it was posted as a bug by another user.

Glad it helped :slight_smile: I suggest you try using wraithlord’s harbour helmet without aberrant call staff. This way wraithlord isnt summoning alot of wraiths and have more time killing mobs himself. Im using +minion magic damage flat stat t7 affix on my scythe (2handed axe) also using experimental boots that makes my minions travel with me when i use transplant and wraithlord is beaming like crazy :))
